I think it would be amazing for villagers to also be afraid of the manbear. Whenever he is within a certain radius of the village they will all panic and run into their houses in the same way they do when a raid starts. I would LOVE that! Also, the forest getting quiet when a predator is around is an irl phenomenon. Crickets will stop chirping, birds will stop tweeting, and more when they sense danger
I love how he always walks around with his axe out, and then always peels the bark off of whatever logs he’s not meaning to, and he gets upset about it when he could just carry around his sword instead of his axe and not have to deal with that problem.
17:18 Villagers have a feature called "reputation" in which they can increase or decrease their prices depending on what you do to them. You get -1 rep when you attack a villager and -10 rep when killing an iron golem. You gain +1 rep when you trade with a villager for the last offer slot on their list, gain +2 to +4 rep when upgrading a villager from Apprentice to Expert, and 10+ rep for saving them from a raid.
Tbh it's pretty realistic. Snow is very good in reflecting light. Northern peoples even have special glasses (they call it "nigauget") that help them with this "heaven" problem Great as always, man
a good idea would be if you’re in multiplayer and proximity chat is added that the manbear could mimic another player when it’s hunting just you. this is made better if you are lost from your friend.

Solution for directional mic (if you wish to do more) Use earbuds for microphone and headphones. Also for smoother locomotion change it so the movement follows your head, not your hand. You can also change it so when you turn its not a snap, but its just a smooooth turn. Very helpful for video making and it just overall feels better then touching the stick on accident and you just teleport looking to the side
I imagine the man bear's just watching from the treeline like 'bruh. How did this dude forget how to walk? I'm just gonna wait until that straightens itself out. No fun hunting something that can't run away'
You could maybe make him nock on the wall or you can hear like a stick breaking near you. Even footsteps passing you could be scary too. (But these doesn’t happen that often)
I feel like manbear is a such great mod. Its really amazing! It would be awesome to see some story about manbear, something to look after, like finding the stronghold or something like that. I feel like if you do something like that, the mod will receive more value and not be a generic terror mod! Great work! It’s really amazing seeing you doing this videos!
Awesome content! This series has been really fun to watch! One thing though, as feedback: The daylight/fog/shaders make it a bit hard to see anything. Everything seems to be shining like the sun sometimes.
The one thing i want from this mod is a manbear i can fight off. An invincible manbear is boring. This mod reminds me a lot of Finding Bigfoot, in that game bigfoot would attack you randomly and he'd leave after a minute or after taking a lot of hits, but the end goal was to swap this dynamic and hunt HIM. I'd like to have the option of dealing like 50-60 damage to the manbear and having it run away temporarily, and eventually, after enough of these, the bear will be weak enough where you can turn the tide and be the one hunting the bear. Facing your fears.
Bro i love this manbear serius its so funny bruh 😂, i would love to see more of it, and by the way last episode where the part of your roof was gone it was the manbear probably, if you check the footage 10 minute before the roof was gone it was there, and you didnt break it, so uhm the manbear probably can get here, so maybe burn the trees around you so it cant really walk up to your house, or make your house even higher, or build walls out of fence and cobble stone walls around it

Idk, if you want to be able to turn better, the setting you want to look for will be something along the lines of "smooth artificial turn." right now you have snap turn on, which means that every time you flick the joystick the camera snaps a certain amount of degrees(most games allow you to change how many agrees), and most games have this setting to help reduce motion sickness. Smooth turn makes it work like a regular joystick, so you can hold it down and it will keep turning(most games allow you to change the turn speed/sensitivity), but smooth turn can be very sickening and disorienting at first. Hope this helps!
It like he’s in a dream. Trying to run fast but going slow or trying to shut the door on time but it won’t close. The world looks blurry like in a dream as well
To make this mod more scary it needs to have the manbear respond with ai created sentences in the players voice. Would make it soo much scarier when it talks
You should use the Tinkers Construct mod, Farmer's Delight Mod and Falling Trees mod for a better experience and even better you should use dynamic trees and ore excavation. So if you use tinkers construct you will be able to create lether armour with better armour by mixing it with iron

IMAGINE if the ManBear could pass his paw through "small" gaps like windows or doors. If he is 6 blocks high, he may try to attack you or grab you through a door or trapdoor if you open it. Not so often, but, don't be so confident with those windows ;) That would be so cool! But I don't know if it's difficult to program.
