This is such a pain, I will never understand why we can't just have separate versions of the game for sale in the store, I would gladly pay 20 to 30 bucks to avoid this
For who doesn’t get it basically he downgraded to the first version of the game using the original disk but first he did disable the Wi-Fi so it won’t update
This actually makes sense as to why it works. Because you go offline, when you delete the file containing all of Minecraft’s updates (which can only be installed while online) and then reinstall with the disc it will only install the contained game files on the disc because again you are offline and can’t get the update files from online. Also yeah this is awesome thanks for showing how to get those old tutorials
@@alexlolli2325 yeah. Just get on your wifi again and open the game. Also this version doesn’t have 1.18 so if you mean bedrock it’s doesn’t work with bedrock, at least to my knowledge.
@@alexlolli2325 if you have a disc of bedrock you can go back to when bedrock first came out I guess. But this is the legacy Xbox one edition that came out in like 2014
Bro, i done the same thing as on the video but on Xbox 360, I got back to TU7, to fuckin TU7!! I was so nostalgic when i saw the tutorial world's mansion! Man that world was so good!!!
I have major nostalgia from older versions of minecraft but when i play them alone its not as fun... it becomes more scary like i traveled to far into the past and even worse i think of the times herobrine was a thing but i dont believe in him as mutch becuase it was a hoax the entire time...

@@NostalgiaBox24it didn’t work for me. It shows a purple box with a faded Xbox logo in the middle when I try… not the cover art just that. It also downloads extremely fast but then freezes at the same place, it’s also named a bunch of random letters and numbers.
Hi there, I have a question. I own a digital copy of minecraft for the 360, but for some reason it's stuck on the trial version. I was wondering if you knew a solution for this problem?
I just redownload minecraft and I checked the update thing and I’m literally in a 2017 version. How tf do I update it Edit- and it won’t automatically update and it won’t say anything about a update
I think you guys are looking for this but if you want to go to the TU1/ 1ST TUTORIAL you will need to have a 360 to do this but what you have to do is go to the game files go to minecraft files and scroll down until you see title update and delete that (you can reinstall back from the notification on your minecraft screen) and you can go to the first trial and sorry if I'm really bad at explaining this
ikr like lets say you could go back to the old version on minecraft xbox one edition anytime you want of course i got it late so i didnt get to play xbox one edition :(
@@WKFootballShorts i do have a 360 after all the problem with it is its very slow ;-; like minecraft is laggy literally every game is laggy on their so im just gonna stick with xbox one bedrock and ps4 bedrock
You can play on TU31 if you have the Minecraft game disc with the Favourites pack included. Sadly, you can’t choose any update on the Xbox One edition, like you can with the Xbox 360 edition.
Is it possible to get to a specific version? I want to get to the version that has the tutorial world that has Stampy’s house in it, since that version is my favourite
It did not work. It stops installing and doesn't show the picture of Xbox one edition, it shows a purple box with a faded Xbox logo in the middle. I recently got the disc on Amazon so I don't know if it matters when the disc was produced.
simple, u just need to have the original minecraft xbox one disc. Step 1: disconnect from the internet Step 2: Uninstall the game if you already have it on the console Step 3: Put the disc in the console and wait for it to finish installing the disc version Step 4: Enjoy playing the first version of the game. Note: if you wanna keep that version permanent just play without internet also sorry fro replying after 1 year
Just saying for anyone seeing this video now, make sure you disconnect from internet once you load it back up or it will say it requires a update, just disconnect your ethernet or wifi and it will load CU1!
I wouldn’t play on the other worlds, it ruined one of my worlds on the 360 when I did the downgrade thing, but if you do accidentally go on a world that was made on a “future” update, you can exit without saving and it should be okay. (Also sorry if this sounds strange or anything, it is late at night where I live lol)
When ever I try this it just says installation stopped and then won’t continue even if I pause download refresh my games and apps and then resume download again
I literally have this game on my Xbox 1 along with the bedrock version. I pretty much only play the old version. I have quite a few massive worlds going on on the old console version.
