Thanks for the walk down Worthing Pier. A paddle steamer [like the Waverley] used to call at the end of the pier to take passengers on a round trip to Littlehampton. circa 1950. Your U Doug worked in the amusement arcade 1953 fixing the new fangled electric machines instead the all mechanical stuff. He may be able to explain the penny token you found. How come you don't find any worms? That's how we earned our pocket money selling to the fishermen.
First time watching your videos Geoff and have liked and subscribed to you. You have some great finds and I like the walk down the pier at the end, including the history etc was really good. As a family on holidays we always checked the piers out trying to find the history and famous people who were involved or had visited.
Hi Geoff, sorry I am late but I just love seeing how well the nox does in the salt water. That is a nice place, I loved the copper nails and the fact that you know the history of them. I was pulling for you with that gold looking token, what a letdown. Great finds! Thanks for sharing the tour of the area, always interesting to see different places. HH Amy
Hi,Geoff, i see you found my elusive shilling, got a few,but never dug one,the spade guinea token was very neat,a proper heartbeat raiser! amazing how solid your signals were.Nice to see the pier footage, that wind looked a pain to keep the sound nice and clear! welldone. thanks forsharing, atb hh gl tc
Great video guys I just got a new Equinox 600 cant wait to get out this weekend. Appreciate your videos as I’m originally from Buckinghamshire but now live in Hong Kong . Look forward to your next video.
Hi Geoff, Cor you're hammering the beaches with the Nox Mate. Looks like the go to detector for the beach. I'm just catching up on vids and seen your invite !! Missed that one. Text me next time. ATB HH
Great video Geoff, enjoyed the stroll along the pier 😎 albeit a little breezy, the nox is proving to be some machine, some impressive depth to those holes.
I hope your going to leave a few crumbs for those of us who don't have a Nox 👌 the little brass wheel is meccano that George III token was a great find well done
Thanks Geoff. I have the feeling that different detectors can winkle out different finds on the same ground. This can be great on a good site. ...and I need a deep beach machine! :)
The Nox is definitely the one for the beach, I have used it in our army camp permission that we thought we had hunted out over three years. we found stuff deeper than the fisher f75, Minelab Explorer 2, Garrett 400 AT pro and various other detectors can go.
Well done Geoff , like the George 111 gaming token . Wish people would rub the coins on the jeans . Talk about scratching the coins !! naughty naughty :) Wheres the Gold ? With all those old coins there must be Gold about . I bought a Macro Multi Kruzer the other day , that should be interesting on some beaches . Actually works on the salt wet someone i know has said.
Great finds Geoff very Interesting regards the deep holes just try to avoid the kangaroos 🦘 when they Jump out of the holes but enjoyed the video you and your mates always keep me mesmerised On what’s coming up next good luck on your next hunt
Very nice! Is that the pier in the Carry On movie? I think it was Carry On At Your Convenience. The toilet factory one. Thanks, the tour was really interesting.
What a nice spot! I'm loving your puns. But the archaeologist in me cringes every time you scrub the sand off an item. We would always always just rinse off the dirt to prevent scratches. I do love your channel, though! Very entertaining!

This is what you found though. The "New" Royal Exchange on one side and the Equestrian statue of Wellington on the other. You won't come across one of those very often - nicely done Sir.
Awesome hunt and really a lot of fun! Some good finds brother! I wanted to let you know that I featured you in my latest round of shoutouts. Hope you can take a look! Thanks for sharing and keep living the dirt life!
Hi the explorer will beat the nox hands down. I use to have the explorer 2... The nox is a light version of the explorer with a faster CPU.. explorer transmits 26 frequency's at one time. If you can put a smaller coil on your explorer that will definitely out do the nox.
@@martinlewis1015 Martin you are more than welcome to join us when we go detecting.. if you email me your number beepingmad@gmail.com I'll text you straight back with mine..
On the rock pools there is no need, the tide only goes out for 4 hours then comes back in. When it goes back out there is no trace of any holes. On the pebbles I fill in my holes
david haynes I agree with you, but it was struggling with the iron. Wayne went home and ordered a nox. But if it was not for the iron it would have done just as well. I was going to get a Cruz but last minute I got the nox.
Up on the pebbles I fill in the holes... On the rock pools the tidr only goes out for 4 hours.. Then comes in and fills the holes . When the tide goes back out you would never know there was a hole there.. That iz the only reason I do no fill in all the holes..
Everytime you rub your finds roughly on your jeans my teeth itch. Defo going to get a Nox. Been on the beach this morning about 4.30 to watch the sunrise with my cscope in 2 hours found 26p 2 lead weights and a load of sparklers.
yeh, just as well that gold thing was only a token, when he showed it at the end, it had the living fuck scratched out of it, as did most of the others hahaha
Yep, me too, the way he rubbed that 'spade guinea' gaming token heavily against his trousers and scratched the s*** out of it made me relieved that it wasn't gold.
stillair1 hi Neil. Wayne was so impressed with the nox he is getting one. It goes so deep i was sure at times it was falling on iron. The penny took me about half a hour to dig out. But it was one of those things I has to know. Great machine. I have just tried some wireless headphones from Curry's. £9.99 they work great with no delay.
