Minelab GPX-6000 Swapping out the inductors to fix the audio problem, also GPZ-7000 mylar shield. 

Those inductors are set up as a band pass filter, yes the ferrite keeps those wires at a close matched impedance to each other, if you want to remove the ferrite you can experiment with a ring core made of high permeable ferrite, i have used 77 material with success , as the the 7000 flips tx phase you do not need to use gapped cores or iron derivatives.

Copied off Facebook-Lots of news with nugget finder coils soon to release a Sadie coil replacement as some coils are not working as they should on the gpx range after its highly modified. The Algoforce has the same issue with some coils performing perfectly well and others flop and giving half of the expected performance and shows easily when a coil that's matched shines well above with loads more sensitivity and depth from the same looking coils . Rohan from nugget finder coils and Mick from Detectronics Australia have worked in conjunction to get a coil that works as it should on all our detectors and I should have access to a test coil in a couple of weeks and I will test with Travis and show you all the results against a NF Sadie coil as they are extremely hard to get ATM but the best test coil for the job.

@@luckyja1 Algoforce can fail to calibrate some Sadie coils as they can be out of spec, remember Nugget Finder coils are hand wound coils, no two are exactly the same. If it were me, I wouldn't bother with using a Sadie coil on the Algoforce, the Coiltek 9" elite is much better, more sensitive and just runs better. I wouldn't bother with any bundle wound coil on a sensitive detector like the Algoforce. I bought a Sadie coil recently as I'd never had one before, what a disappointment it was, my 14x9" EVO appears to outperform it, on small targets the only benefit it has is size if you need a small coil, certainly not sensitivity.
