Lets take a look at the performance of the Minelab x-terra pro on mineralised tricky roman soil. can it find me a roman coin? www.metaldetectorsonline.co.uk Promo code: SID5
Thanks for the video. Had mine xterra on field 1 recovery 2 sensitivity 21 10 kHz found Roman coin and a old gilded cuflink very good detector for the price.
Sensitivity! I was using it this morning, u really have to play with the setting depending on land, still hits deep but makes it less noisy, worked so far 😅😂, great vid as usual 👍🏻
Nice going Sid. Glad you got your Roman. Haven’t swung one yet but sold my first in the shop. Put the young woman onto your channel as being the expert on it and top bloke. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Was really looking forward to this one being awesome, think I'll wait to see how the new 15khz Simplex does when it gets released, maybe they'll surprise us eh?
And that's why I have the X-Terra Pro and the ability to change it up if it is needed and the Simplex + and it's 12 MHz frequency if I had any kind of EMI and the Simplex Was a dysfunctional detector and the frequency shift😂😂😂is that a Joke.. to use...
Wish I had watched this video before I went out today. I had a garret with a nel coil before and swing quite fast. Will slow it down next time I'm out.
Nice side what I've learned people will cry 😅 probably I move fast a round a field it might sound silly but I then go back slowly over the areas as I've learned some targets become discharged in the ground or when you have some grinding then someone's comes over a finds silver or what ever shows me why we miss so much and mostly thanks to history's Revisited he put up a video about it
@@fletcherbravoAnd I run mine at 12 Sensitivity and when I get a Jumpy VDI I know that it's a JUNK Target And the settings on the X-Terra Pro that I use is Park 1 - All Tone's - iron bias minus ➖ 4 and swing speed 3 and also I have noticed that I get a better idea of the target if I have the All Metal Mode on and I have had a few bottle caps that I didn't have the horseshoe button on and I dug them and now I keep it on and I haven't dug any more unless they are in the same hole Or Area when I check out the targets with the Pinpointer.... and I think the X-Terra Pro is a Baby Brother to the Equinox 900 .....
Hi sid. Please write how you set the detector on this soil. On my land, every movement of the coil gives a sound to the color, and it turns out that there is a lot of iron. Greetings from Poland.
Live videos of the X-Terra Pro show coins reading as iron in all frequencies, air tests from other videos show its limitations of death are approximately 11 to 12 inches even with the 12 inch coil, but for people at the beach it's still a strong contender. Using old school Whites machines I found coins from the mid-1700s at no deeper than 9 to 10 inches, so target range depth is not the most important issue for me as a Nokta Simplex and Qwest Q10 Pro user, it's that casino slot machine sound of the Minelab and serious processing delay!. Notice the sounds are heard only after the coil has passed over the target. What I love about the Nokta Simplex is the old school threshold that enables you to find the deepest targets. Nokta plans to update the frequency of the Simplex from 12 to 15 MHz which will totally destroy its depth making the Minelab the leader of the pack, so sad. Any thoughts?
And the real funny thing is that Notka Macro Product's has put the Simplex + to the Discontinued Detector List and then the new Simplex lineup can only use the 15 MHz frequency and can't change the frequency like the X-Terra Pro can and I have seen a video of the new Detectors of Notka Macro And I couldn't hear the names of them and Dielik voice was loud and if would of just let the other guy tell us about the New Multi Frequency Starter Detector's that she is promoting and I don't think it was the Simplex lineup but someThing else....
Can you change the recovery speed on it?? it seems incredibly slow.... don't think it will suit my fields here in Denmark with a lot of iron in .... Regards Michael from Denmark
Yes it does have different recovery speeds, but i was running on max and it felt as though needed to be a little faster.. i think its more designed for deep targets on cleaner grounds 👍🏼 or you have to just slow sweep speed down to compensate
It seems like Sid is on the lowest setting for the X-Terra Pro and it has three 1-2-3 and I also Swing pretty fast and I s also have the iron Bias Settings a little higher and there's more settings on the X-Terra Pro that he never touched or showed us and I also have the X-Terra Pro and I love it ❤️❤️...
