So as a scrub can someone explain to be why the stug sucks? Is it just a bad su85? I remember in coh 1 it was very cheap so is that the problem? Its cheap but sucks at its job? Like it can't pen or is destroyed too easily? I dont see a lot of su76s either. Same problem? In coh 1 it always got circled so i always assumed better team players used it in co junction with the AT halftrack trackbteaker ability to stop allied tanks, since the stug was actually very good at a 1v1 slugfest due to good front armour stats
Stug is a su76 but slightly better, they're cheap and pen medium tank quite well but that's it, when they're facing su85 or fireflies they need a panther or something to tank the shot so they can reliably support from behind due to their short range of sight You can think of stug as a neat pick that worked when certain conditions are met or a cheap alternative to tank destroyer that you can spam, one stug can do quite well against most medium allies tank destroyer though it'll be better if it has another stug or p4 to support it
