I'm so shocked at everyone saying they feel bad for Mingyu? You have to understand that seventeen's group dynamics are very fun loving. Mingyu is very friendly, easy going and excitable. All the members are clearly very fond of him and know that he doesn't take jokes too personally which is why they tease him jokingly - it's fun to mess around with him. Mingyu will also fight back because he can get sassy (insomnia zero episode). They also tease Seungkwan, Dk, Hoshi and Dino all the time too. Some of y'all seem to forget that Mingyu is a 6 foot 3 man who has grown up with these boys for nearly a decade of his life, they certainly have a sibling bond and if he wasn't happy with how he's treated I'm sure he would inform the members. Stop making it seem like Mingyu is some helpless puppy when he definitely isn't. The members truly adore him and he loves them right back.

And i'm saying this because i've stanned a lot of groups but Seventeen haves the best and closest dynamic between each members. This is how friends are, especially close friends lmao. My highschool and college friend group behaved this way as well. We tease and make fun of each other to the point that it may look like "bullying" for others but to us, it's nothing new and that's just how we show our affection to one another. Of course, it's not always perfect; sometimes we go too far and depending on how good the communication is, we could all learn from our mistakes and move on. None of us know Seventeen on a personal level, only they know what's going on behind the scenes. And if they have a really good relationship, as they tell us, then I'm pretty sure it's all good fun and if anything does go too far, they'd talk about it off-camera. I remember when I was a teenager, we also have a 13 members co-ed performing group and we always ended up teasing the member (like Seventeen do) that enjoys the teasing too. We express our love through that LMAO and we are also close to each other. It's pretty normal for groups. I actually didn't feel it was a big group because we have a knit close relationship although it cannot be prevented that other members are closer than the others. AND IT IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS TO SHARE SECRETS AND EMBARASSING MOMENTS BECAUSE THE OTHER 12 WILL TEASE YOU ABOUT THAT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

number one reason why i am not butthurt about mingyu getting clowned constantly is bc hes quite literally as close to perfect as you can get bc hes tall and hot af and hes super smart and creative too so im ALL FOR the members knocking him down a few pegs to make sure his powers dont get to his head (even though thats unlikely bc hes also super nice)
