The AMX International is a joint development program between italian Aeritalia-Aeramacchi and brazillian Embraer, with brazil having developed 33%~ of the plane and the Italians the rest, the AMX Ghibli in game is the ITALIAN model (A-11 "Ghibli"), the Embraer model has less capable radar and electronics and two 30mm DEFA guns instead of the M61 Vulcan rotary cannon The real AMX can also carry JDAMs and IRIS-Ts (the italian one at least)
Our amx (Brazilian) carried the maa 1b (air to air missil but in portuguese), the maa1 holds 50g, mach 2.3 and operational range of 12km, basically its a better version of aim 9m

Please correct the title of the video. The AMX is not a Brasilian plane. The plane was designed in Italy by Aermacchi and Aeritalia and Brazil had a marginal part in the project, with less than 30% of the production shares. The plane you use in game also bears the Italian insignia....

Better to play it with minimal fuel to avoid wing rip, use the drop tanks too. The hit on flight performance is surprisingly minimal and greatly improves the experience

Wrong. The Brazilian version has 2 French 30mm DEFA cannons, carries the aam1 piranha, a Brazilian missile that pulls 55g, range of 12km, HMD, there is no smoke and etc.

@@GearHeadDnlAvsLms The 30mm cannons of the amx1M (Brazilian version of the amx) are quite powerful, plus the rate of the mini gum is impressive. I think the mini gum is better, but it uses more ammunition in a single click But I think the 2 30mm cannons are lighter than 1 mini gun which makes the plane more maneuverable
@@paollo267 because the 30mm in game doesn’t have the muzzle velocity it used to have, and while I understand it may be the update of the Ghibli why didn’t they put it in another tree? What another event vehicle/premium?
Don’t wanna be that guy but this is the Italian variant of the AMX not the Brazilian one. Slightly misleading title, makes people shit on Italy even more 😅 Brazilian one has 2 30mm cannons as opposed to the Italian one with a 20mm Gatling gun. I’d love to see Gaijin add it as a foldered aircraft but if they do it probably would just be a premium aircraft.
"Actually" 🤓- No just kidding, but the Super Etendard is also able to reach above Mach without an Afterburner! Which is very interesting, we need more of those aircraft in game overall!

Embraer's AMX has already beaten the American F16 in a simulated ground attack and a dogfight. After that, the Americans nicknamed it the bee because it is small, but it fights back lethally if provoked.
Aermacchi was just a great aircraft manufacturer/designer, even if the AMX was one of their least successful designs(only Brazil, other than the company's country was interested).

Dude, it is still brazillian, the aircraft was made by colaboration betwen brazil and italy, just like the eurofighter that was made by a colabiration between britain, germany, spain and italy

@@netomeneses5477 there are actually more difference, for example the Brazilian A1M have the Scipio SC-01 radar and different A2G weapons. Regarding the A2A missiles, the Brazilian One can Carry MAAB1 (in different versions) and A-Darter. The Italian One can Carry Aim9L, aim9LI/1 and IRIS-T

Hopefully when or if they give a tree to Brazil or a sub tree to be more likely, we will see the Brazilian version. And hopefully its the modernized one, the A-1M.
PARE really only works in a regular spin. Demonstrated here was a flatspin where recovery is nearly impossible, the best thing to do would be to eject.
@@sargaa8471 The airflow over the controls in a flatspin is so distorted and slow that the controls lack any true power, rendering them useless. In aviation, flatspins are called a death sentence.
I don't have social life .. I play war thunder as a Russian main and I grinded F16 from American tech tree... I have no life.. I love this game and I hate it too... I am So lonely
