It's not really an issue in this bike as it does not draw a lot of current.

@@SuperMaiki76 doesn't get close to being hot as the battery and wheel are well under spec for the controller.

What the battery has to do with it? Regardless, having the controller built-in as so is not good. But you do as you like​@TechUpBuilds
