I have this camera and the same settings for motion detection, but the motion alarm does not work, no matter what setting I try. The camera only takes screenshots when nothing is happening. its frustrating, because someone illegally enters my apartment while i sleep, and the camera does not record anything that moves and does not alert me when someone is present i tested it by myself what settings do I have wrong?
They're OK for recording in sd card if you aren't too bothered about quality. The biggest let down is the apps, not the camera, that makes it a pain in the arse. The app developers are for some reason making it like this.
When only using a sd card and not wifi or app do you just input sd card and press on and when light flickers blue does it record cause I’m just worried I’m not recording and when I go to transfer files from sd to phone it won’t have recorded sorry
Well I have the same one and i cant get it to activate the warranty or get it to connect to my IPhone trying to get in touch with the makers by email and see where it gos ok
Help… I have set this camera up. It works great I’m showing that it’s online but I cannot view it on my phone unless I have Wi-Fi on the phone. It will not use cell data… What did I do wrong?

If it goes offline and you're away from the camera you cannot turn it back on. You have to physically push the on button on the camera itself to reactivate it.
Returning it it’s the perfect size I actually like the feature of being able to turn off the LEDs however it wants way too many permissions on my phone I don’t want to use the Wi-Fi feature over my router I just want to set it up in the garage it’s forcing me to set it up through Wi-Fi The app wants access to everything on my phone why does it need more than the Wi-Fi or storage there’s no reason it should be need my location or access to other files since installing the app twice I’ve come back to my phone and my Samsung wallet has been open deleted the app now scanning my phone
This camera will not make any blinking lights or any sound at all when I try setting this up, the amazon merchant will not answer me when I tell them that this will not pair with the HIDVCAM app, the merchant won't even give me a refund either.
That's weird. I've got another similar camera video coming up where I go in a bit more detail about connecting and troubleshooting the problems so if you haven't found a solution you should check that video. It's coming soon.
worthless camera can not connecting to wifi. have tried it several times. it only works by setting up an AP. So you can't get on the internet with it. all new wi-fi routers choose their own GHz channel. so there may be a conflict. Maybe improve the App. the camera is now just unusable
It works better near the router. If you lose connection to WiFi, it can't remotely switch back on. It has loads of faults, and the company seems to have made this more difficult than it needs to be.
