Good video, Tish. If I remember right, when the coupe was introduced, Mini said that its styling was so designed to appeal to those who wore their baseball caps backwards!!!
This mini fits in because there's no need for back seats on a mini not even kids can fit into them and the boot is tiny. So this way there is plenty of room for two and the boot is a very good size it even has a ski hatch, and i also think this mini will go down as a classic, They was only made from 2011 to 2015 wasn't really loved at the time. I have an SD John cooper works GP 200bhp GP big brakes drilled discs, gp suspension, limited slip disc. £30 a year road tax 60mpg combined cycle, 400nm torque. 🤷🏽

I got one of these as a second car. The hatch never appealed but I always thought the Coupe Cooper S/JCW looked good in the right colours, the active spoiler makes it feel a bit more special too. Hard to think of anything more fun (for the money) down a B road. The bonus is it’s great for trips away with that boot space, you can fit loads in which you can’t do with something like an MX-5
I agree with a 7/10. I prefer the hatch but I'm glad these are around to break up the boredom. Here in Oz these are few and far between. A good one will still set you back reasonable coin.
Great video, Tish! The Mini Coupe is a weird one for me - you know I LOVE a Mini, but the Coupe just looks a bit odd to me with the baseball cap roofline. The Mini is the hot hatch I’d get that’s smaller than a GTI/Golf R. Also, the trunk space is seriously impressive, I can fit my golf clubs AND a small suitcase at the same time! That interior is lovely with the cream leather and black piping.
The Mini Cooper Coupe belongs in the cool section of the board, along with the Mini Cooper electric and the JCW. But the basic Mini Cooper, I had to put in uncool cos my geography teacher has one.
Good vid Tish. I never liked the coupe mini styling, I prefer the hatch. I have to agree with your scores and the table at the end is a great addition to the pocket rocket polls series. Awesome achievement getting near to that 10k subs 👏 doing a great job. Keep it up
I agree bottom place abarth 595 I had one the build quality is terrible I had it from a year old and omg every time I drove it things just fell off it constantly blown bulbs, the door handles snapped on both doors, the ride was like a pogo stick every time I drove it, it was a different drive but never good,,,,,, overpriced, under powered, shocking quality, typical fiat

Does MINI coming 4th just behind Toyota in the 2020 reliability survey help your consideration? My R56 Cooper S has 200,000km and has no issues, my wife's R56 D has 520,000km and is still on the original clutch and injectors. Everything in them works and there are no rattles or broken trim and the paint still looks new. Mini's are a quality product. Regular servicing is the key. Don't belive everything you hear, a lot of it is from plonkers talking out of their ass.
Great video Tish as always. The minis are beautiful and it is easy to see how they sell in such numbers.....Unfortunately I don't think they are the best out there mechanicaly though. The "fun" cars are not fun when you get the garage bills 🙄
