I installed the official LCI lights and picked them up new on eBay for just over £200 and coding was very easy. I sold the original lights on eBay for £50 each, it took some time but people buy them for accident repair etc 👍🏻
Such a massive improvement. My 2020 S came with the UJ's and I've never passed judgement on the pre-lci models without them but OMG every time I see one now, I'm going to be thinking "get some 🇬🇧 lights" 😆
Hi, I've just purchased a 2020 (20) MINI Cooper 1.5 Cooper Sport II 3dr and was actually looking to get the old taillights as I don't like the UJ ones. Anyone know anywhere I could source good ones from?
Thinking about getting these. Do you mean condensation inside of the light or just water caught behind the light. They look clean and I definitely want to make sure they are high quality.

Hi Ben again thanks for the video. I'm gonna order the full smoke ones now. Some comments. Mini/Bmw is clearly taking the piss. To change the rear lights (that no one is likely to have to do) it takes 2 minutes and no tools. To change the battery you need to dismantle half of the car!! Regarding mot - having a cooper (single central fog light non reflective) I think I will have to add reflectors (or put oem back as takes literally 5mins). Looking at the bumper I would suggest (both cooper and cooperS) to remove the tow caps both sides and stick the reflectors there. Should be round 6cm on cooper and square for cooperS. This will guarantee simmetrical position and gluing to a non visible part of the car (as then you can remove and refit caps). I might give it a try. On cooper might even look nice round an flush so might stay permanently.

Any chance you remember how many pins are used in your wire harness. Looking to fit these on a 2022 US spec car, and while they are plug and play they do not illuminate the horizontal amber portion. Looks to be beyond coding, but really want the amber turn signal!
I just got mine and the right light works perfectly, but the left light isn’t lighting up red at night. The brake light works and the blinker works, but the running light isn’t lighting up red. Anyone else have this issue? I’m not sure if it’s a faulty light they sent me or if I’m doing something wrong.
Hey Ben, how did you get the DLR lights to get brighter when you break? I bought these exact lights and if I turn on DLR for these and break, only the break light comes on
I have yet to try. Theoretically the fog lights are reflective so it may pass with them, however, just as a piece of mind I’ll purchase some small disk shaped reflectors.
Yeah :). How’s your fitment? I got mine from Kill All Chrome and there are gaps which sucks. Not let any water in but it didn’t look great. Mines pre-LCI though and think these are based off of LCI lights
The fit of mine is spot on! No gaps at all and the screws went back in a treat! Regarding the MOT, I’ll be getting a set of adhesive red reflectors just to see it through the MOT, then I’ll remove them after.
