Our miniature dachshund Mac reacts to us playing different instruments, including the drums, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, flute and harmonica. He definitely liked some more than others. (:
Mac is a miniature sausage dog (doxie, teckel, dackel) who lives in Montreal. Follow his adventures here!

If he had to pick I think it would be the flute and the harmonica. Little man is very he sits and listens to every instrument then gives his. He does have a good ear

Harmonica, flute and the guitar for the wins! Not so impressed by the drums or electric guitar. He’d rather play ball. Mac is one handsome Dachshund. Makes me want another mini red Dachshund so much. Love these videos.

Mac’s excitement is so contagious! I don’t think his tail stopped wagging. He really seemed to enjoy the acoustic guitar. He sat right down to listen. Thank you for making me smile. I truly enjoy your videos, (my Zinnie Kitty 🐈 does as well) sweet Mac! 🐾❤️🐾

It seems he reacted the most to the flute and harmonica. Reminds me of my little mini Cannon, RIP. I called him Cannon Ball bc he was so full of energy and took off like a cannon. 🥲

My doxiehuahua hated my flute, my accordion and our harmonicas. I think they hurt his ears. He, like Mac, seemed to like acoustic guitar.

Mac doesn't like the drums, rather play fetch than listen to base guitar.. Seems to like the flute and harmonica and is ok with the guitar..

Oh yes perhaps! I generally try to avoid the higher octaves because he doesn’t seem to like them.
