(April 2023) At the South MacArthur Garage in Norfolk, VA. We have 4 wonderful elevators here. Schindler 300 is a great elevator however the lack of maintenance shows here at this garage.

As a former Norfolk resident, I never actually got to ride those elevators, even though I wanted to. It seemed like every time we went to the mall, we would park near an elevator, and it would be out of order. Glad to see they do work, I just happened to be really unlucky.

This garage does have 2 more elevators: There’s a bank of 2 elevators near the former Nordstrom that wasn’t filmed in this video. Were those broken as well?

Shopping malls don't do regularly scheduled maintenance to save on money. Elevators are left neglected for the most part, and serviced only once per year.

I think the first elevator has a leak because almost every video it is low on oil. Time for a cylinder replacement probably.

MT fixtures are my favorite and the motor is loud but I like it but we all know and love mt fixtures. I think you have rode these before if I’m mistaken

Down was noticeably slower than up particularly the long levelling on the down direction on the first one and the door clutch on the last one with the bad wheel was also not lined up well
