I know the quality on this is not good at a cell phone but I like my devices be single purpose so when I meant to go take a picture I don't get discord notifications and then get distracted talking to my friends instead of acting trying to get the picture I wanted it to get at least that my opinion and then again on top of that I also enjoyed being able to pick the pictures I'm able to print out because it's very useful to be able to print out multiple of one pictures just want to give the picture away

Cool. Yes, only printed images can be transferred to your phone using the mini Evo app. However, you can always put them on the phone by taking the SD card out and plugging the SD card into your computer or into your phone and transferring the photos that way.
I’ve just bought one of these - the Bluetooth says it is connected ( on the camera and on the app) but all the bluetooth options are greyed out ( I’m unable to select them) and the options on the app aren’t available either. Do you know how to fix this? I haven’t updated firmware yet as i need an SD card - do you think that would fix it? Thankyou in advance for any help you can give me

also I have a problem with the Bluetooth connect with my phone I just cancel the Bluetooth from my phone and connected with my iPad and when I try to connect again with the same phone it can’t be connect it just tell me error 1010 i’ve tried like 1000 time and I reset the camera and I delete the application and try to download it again but it didn’t work should I connect with different phone every single time I want to print a photo phone!!!!!

Yes. Simply unpaid your phone, check your Bluetooth and wifi settings, and repair with the camera. For more information use the troubleshooting section of the EVO manual.
hi Robert! you mentioned expired film would do smth funky to the print, but i keep running into the same problem with non-expires/new purchased films :( could it be the printer? i have the 1st gen =P the SP1 am i way over due for upgrade? thanks in advance!

Do you know how to get clearer photos when transferring from camera to phone? Whenever I transfer to my phone the photos are blurry / bad quality vs the printed version.

Yes.. but only after you print them from the camera. That's the print transfer feature. It stores tour latest 50 printed shots to transfer to your phone. Or, you could transfer them to your phone by taking out the SD card and transferring them directly. Cheers.
Hello, I just got this camera a few days ago and maybe you discuss this in another video of yours, but do you know if there is something I can do about the shutter delay? It always take a second too long especially with things like hyper active dogs or children. Is there a option I have to set for that? Thank you!

Just got mine recently and since the battery of evo isn’t changeable, for how long do you think the battery batter will last until it’s as good as disposable camera?
No. The frames will always be the color of the frame that you purchased with Instax Mini film. So if you bought black frame film you will always have a black frame when printing with that film.
Thank you for the very informative series of videos about the Mini Evo. Would you consider making another one addressing the quality of the digital file? Specifically, the amount of adjustment work needed to yield an acceptable print; and the overall quality of a print at 5x7 and 8x10 enlargements. I would like to use the Mini evo for casual photos to look at and share on the go. Occasionally I would like to be able to take the file, edit it in photoshop, and print and display them at 5x7 or 8x10 in my living room. Is this a reasonable possibility for this camera?
Hello Walt, prinoting the images from the digital files would be a bad idea at 4x6, not to mention 8x10. Please, do not consider this camera a replacement for a proper camera or camera phone for documenting your life. Please treat the camera as a normal instant film camera with added features. The digital files should be thought of as a back up to the prints so that you dont waste film and can reprint your favorite images. The camera sensor lacks the dynamic range, resolution, and quality you would expect for use as an enlargement. I'm concerned that if you spend your time taking casual pictures of your life with the intenet to use the images as prints in the future, thet you will one day attempt it and find that all those images are basically useless for what you intend. Consider yourself warned. The camera is good for what it does: offer a novel way to shoot instant film. That's it. Cheers.
