i wonder.. if you split the old tracks .. you could lay them out on the trailer ramps and fasten them down tight. giving you far superior traction to get up the ramps with steel tracked equipment.
all ya all gripping that timmy isn't hurrying up and what not, Its NC its probably 107deg in the shade, and perhaps ya don't remember doing new things and waiting to be directed rather then jumping in and screwing it up more... HUSTLE HUSTLE blah blah, which is exactly how S gets broke and folks end up injured.
When he tracked it on i give him props for not hesitating to go for the proper side being mindfull that he is facing backwords .iv seen many skiled operators fuge that one up from time to time mostly on shovles without a blade tho
@@lindamitchell-fox1926 i do too i used to go up to his part of NY years ago and those guys will fix anything before buying new. Great people up there and better than the city aholes that come up in the summer and ruin it
@@lindamitchell-fox1926 He changes his tracks by himself. We see a ton of grease pushed out when Andrew pushes in the idler, but there didn't look to be any grease in this video. Did they wipe it away and edit that bit out?
I wish I had a helper like you. Goes waist deep in water to retrieve sand bags. Or removes bolts from a socket one by one an places them in a row on deck...
I can see Chris is quite a meticulous man, blowing the "dust" off the mini - like it's gonna make a big difference in the install - but I can identify with the process. I'd have done the same thing..... good chuckle on that one, haha
Are these Yanmar tracks or aftermarket brand? Our landfills charge per tire to dispose of old ones. What does it cost to get rid of old tracks down there? She should be good for another 10 years!
Not your first rodeo. I also know an old farmer who can change out those tracks BY HIMSELF in a half hour. And his BOBCATS are less maneuverable. Great JOB. Cheers.
We have so much fractured rock here that I am lucky if I get 600 hours out of a set. Last set I bought where Camoplast and they seem to be holding up better then the factory Kubota ones.
I could have done with this video coming up last night. 7 times the tracks popped off the rental machine I was using today an old rattler. First time I’ve done it and I did 6 other times after 😂
Chris, I just bought my first Excavator to use around the farm, a Yanmar VIO35-5b. Where is a good place to shop for/buy parts? Just filters and maintenance supplies at this point. I'd appreciate your help.
Why does Justin always look like he doesn't actually want to be at work? I sometimes think if he moved any slower he would stop.. Makes no odds to me, if your happy then that's all that matters.
Tim I think you need to move a little faster! Chris is too lenient with you fella! Good jobs are hard to find, especially with a decent boss. Stop taking the piss! I'm sorry to be so obtuse Tim.
My advice, not that it was needed, and, he looks like he knows what he is doing. Spray some WD-40 around the sproket, B-4 you take the track off. Not that it was needed? I'm just saying? Now, you wannabee's, like me, complain of the the plummer crack? Did you think maybe, if this diggin' gig didn't work out for him he'll have something to fall back on?😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍
Quite a few comments of Andrew Camarata in here...maybe one day Chris will use time lapsed footage, outside of the cab, showing the job from start to finish?
