Sorry for the relative lack of action on the hopper view, I just wanted to share what I've been doing recently! More ASL videos to come soon.
Wayne TomCat MSL, 6 Yard garbage truck on a Hino 155. We are borrowing this little truck from a sister company and using it for helping recycling and yard waste routes. This truck feels like a go-kart compared to the other, full-sized ones. The yard waste goes to an industrial-scale composting facility.

I just found one for sale and I had never seen a truck like this in action. I'm looking to purchase one for our Recycling Operation here in New Mexico. This is perfect for cul-de-sacs, hammer heads and call in's. Thanks for your video!

Love the little passenger you got with you in those first few shots! On a different note, how much are you able to pack in this thing? I can’t imagine more than a couple streets worth depending on how heavy of a week it is. Also damn impressed with how clean the recycling out there is. Californians tend to treat it as another trash bin. I enjoy watching these videos, keep it up

Isn't she the cutest? That's so surprising to me! I would have thought that Californians would be on their game. That's really too bad ☹️. I've been experimenting over the past few weeks and average about 60 cans, if there's no extra material on the side. As such we've just been using it to assist on country routes and these spread out grey can routes

Nope, as kooky and liberal as most people in CA are, they think literally anything can just be tossed in the recycling bin. I’ve seen it all. It’s almost frightening seeing people’s stupidity

You think it's just blind optimism? Like the concept of throwing styrofoam into the recycling in the very small hope they'll be able to process it? What's the craziest thing you've seen?

Medical Garbage wish-cycling at its finest. Ive seen entire bags of trash, couch cushions, pillows, ironing boards, blocks of wood, bricks, window screens, containers still half full of liquid or food.... it really just comes down to ignorance and laziness to actually take a minute to read the big ass sticker on top of the bin

Really enjoy watching these videos of you loading the trucks up can you do one of you loading up bigger items and crushing them in the big truck? With the camera angle showing the crushing?

I love this cute little thing. I live all the way in Caldwell, ID. But do you think you will have the guts to travel all the way here and film my neighborhood garbage truck? It's a Republic Services one. :) If not, that's 100% okay. Stay strong my guy! My garbage day is every Thursday btw :) And can i just give a big Awwwww to that dog as the passenger? He is super cute :) and i put too many smiley faces.

Love taking her along, she's a good copilot. That is, when she isn't barking at other dogs on the street lol. Idk man, that is pretty far for me, I might not be able to make it out there!

Wouldn't it be better if there were 2 people operating the truck? A driver and someone who could hop out and load the trash it would be a lot faster and efficient

You would think the body build would have put the controls for car picker in the cab so the driver would not have to get out of the cab 100 times a day I would save a lot of time
