Hi Guys, this is the first cook on the Lidl Mini Kamado Rotisserie.
Had to be a brined chicken - there's no better taste than a brined BBQ chicken!

Man, that is an impressive set up. Love the challenge of improving these small silly Lidl kamados:) Their quality is surprising but they need some accessories. Just made a deflector plate by trimming down a cheap pizza stone. I will definitely try making this rad rotisserie set up. Thanks.

Good job, it looks very similar to what I did, I also use it on one of those round halogen ovens in the house just get a spare ring and cut two slots in with another ring on top to get the space if I can't be bothered to go out in the cold, having said that I have been known to stand outside in the snow tending to the BBQ much to the entertainment and confused looks from the neighbours lol

Też chce zrobić na kamado wiosną w tym roku. Ciekawe czy będzie lepszy smak jak na grillu gazowym z dodatkiem zrąbków wędzarniczych. Ale na kamado też można dać ząbki wędzarnicze do tego aromat węgla drzewnego

Tak, wiosna to dobry czas na rozpoczęcie gotowania Kamado. 100% węgiel jest lepszy niż gaz. Niesamowity smak palenia na kamado. Powodzenia i przyjemnego gotowania.

Thanks Adam! Yes I made the heat retainer ring out of aluminium sheet. Used a paper template to get the angle and then transferred onto the metal. Cut out with grinder, bent into circular shape and fixed with a nut and bolt. 👍

Ok, will do a walk round of the components and how I attach to the Kamado bench. I used the rotisserie from my gas BBQ, which is why the skewer is so long!
