If this was an actual "walkthrough" I could see the camper as I walked through it. The camera flipped from one part to another and then zoomed in so all you could see was the sink .... or the shower ... etc. Walk through the entire unit showing the layout as if I was walking . THEN go back and talk about the individual parts. Instead of giving me the parts as if it were a puzzle for me to try to visualize all these different parts and where they go in the camper.
It’s a fair criticism. My focus has always been on making a comprehensive presentation that focuses on more of the things other video walkthroughs leave out, but including a quick walk around would give more of a sense of the space. I appreciate the input and I believe this is something I’ll start to add into future videos.
With an enclosed underbelly and tank heaters, this unit is better suited than many to be adapted to winter use. That being said, Rockwood doesn’t make the claim that it is a 4 season camper. They feel more comfortable calling it an “extended 3 season”camper. But if you were to properly skirt it and use a heated water hose, it could be done.
Now, if one were to live permanently inside this unit, but we have to rent out a space? Or rent out a lot? How does that work? I’m new to all of this, but I want to make the change.
Rockwood has a Caution sticker at the black tank flush. "Do not use the tank flush valve unless the tank termination valve is in the open position. Can result in an unsanitary condition leading to illness or personal injury." We did have a customer last year who left the hose running on the black tank flush, without opening the termination valve, that resulted in damage to his black tank. The vent should help relieve some of the buildup of pressure, but my understanding is that there's still a potential for damage. At the very least, bad things are going to happen if the valve is left closed for too long.
I use a zero gravity recliner. Fits fine in the kitchen and isn't in the way. Granted I travel alone with my dog. You won't get two of the recliners in there.
I'm always trying to improve. In some past videos I showed floorplans with specs at the end of videos, but I will consider adding that near the beginning. Yeah, Josh does great videos and it appears that his primary job is social media marketing for his dealership, which is awesome. He has some more advanced tech and editing for his videos, but I will try to work on the flow and camera placement. Thanks for watching!
Air is mostly nitrogen? Hmmm..just buy a can of nitrogen to fill tires..duh😅 all gasses react differently, follow up with a respiratory therapist before filling tires! 😂😂😂😂😂
The slide topper? That is to protect the slide from rain and tree debris. If you don’t have a topper, it’s recommended to clean off the top of the slide room before retracting it. Leaves and pine needles etc could interfere with the gasket’s ability to repel water.
