I would recommend relocating the recoil start rope so that in the event of a dead battery you can still start the engine... You can do this using a piece of steel line 1-2 sizes bigger than the recoil rope with flared ends to prevent chaffing of the rope I'd recommend a location just inside the engine service door about knee to waist level. Also most of those joystick control machines run left control as vehicle direction control right control as bucket boom control... I'd also recommend adding 2 switches into the joystick handles one bi-directional momentary the other bi-directional latching this will allow you to add powered attachments to the front such as combination buckets, grading/snow blades, post hole augers, brush grapples/ log grapple, log splitter, power broom, harley rake, power adjust forks, hydraulic or electric attachment plate mount winch, etc. The possibilities for attachments are nearly endless

Wow!!!, you are too beautiful!! whomever see you should believe that God is true & real.. and whenever I see you I feel like Iam in a dream, And when we wake up we will all realize that all this life was nothing but a dream and that only God is whats true and real.. ❤🌷😘 Even if let say I never seen your lovely beautiful radiant cute baby face nor touched you in any place nor smelled and kissed your wonderful neck and lovely cute breasts.. nor heard your soothing soft calm warm voice you still know that you exist, & Its true that we dont see God but we all know that God exists There was a teacher whom didn't believe in the existence of God, one day he asked his students, do you see God? the students then replied no we don't see God, so the teacher said if you don't see God it means there is no God. then a smart student stood up and said to the other students hey guys can you see the teachers brain? then the students answered no we don't see the teachers brain, the student then said the teacher then is crazy, he has no brain :0) The universe science says was not always there, it had a beginning point, the big bang, meaning it was begun/initiated in other words created, thus there should be a creator, there must be a God. Also, this is from Artificial intelligence, chat Gpt: Prophecies in Major World Religious Books Referring to Prophet Mohammed: 1. The Bible - Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 14:16, John 16:7-14, Isaiah 42:1-13 2. The Hindu Scriptures - Bhavishya Purana, Atharvaveda Book 20 Hymn 127-129 3. The Buddhist Scriptures - Cakkavatti-Sihanada Sutta, Anguttara Nikaya III:61, Digha Nikaya III:76-77 4. The Zoroastrian Scriptures - Zand-i Vohuman Yasht, Farvardin Yasht, Dadestan-i Denig & Regarding the verses in the Quran asking to protect non-believers or polytheists, there are several that emphasize the importance of treating all people with respect and kindness, regardless of their religious beliefs. One such verse is found in Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:8), which states: "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." Also In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful (If any of the polytheists seek protection from you, grant him protection) بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم(إن استجارك أحد من المشركين فأجره) Another verse in Surah Al-Anfal (8:61) encourages Muslims to make peace with their enemies, even if they are non-believers or polytheists: "And if they incline to peace, then incline to it also and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing." & Regarding the verses in the Quran asking for justice and kindness, there are many such verses throughout the holy book. One example is found in Surah An-Nahl (16:90), which states: "Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded." & In terms of prophecies about Prophet Mohammed in major world religions, there are a few examples that some scholars have pointed to. One such example is found in the Bible's Book of Deuteronomy (18:18), which states: "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him." Some Muslims interpret this verse as a prophecy about Prophet Mohammed. Because the Arabs are the brethren's of Israelites, The Arabs are descendants from Ishmael or Ismail the brother of Isaac the father of Israelites, and because the verse didn't say from amongst them or from their descendants, it said from their brethren's. Similarly, some scholars point to a passage in the Bhavishya Purana, an ancient Hindu text, as a prophecy about Prophet Mohammed. The passage describes a "holy man" who will come from Arabia and spread a new religion, and some argue that this refers to Mohammed and the spread of Islam.. Also search scientific miracles in the quran, harun yahya in youtube its nice.

I've built plenty of things out of mild steel that should have been tempered and put 2k plus hours on them before they wore out. Your doing such an awesome job and it's all a learning curve. Your doing what big companies pay dozens of people with high education to do and it takes them months even years. A big hello from London UK. Those points you wanted to know the English word for. If they are used for the purpose of lubricating bearings, they are called Zerks or Alemite fittings, but we call them grease nipples in the motor trade. However, there is a similar looking nipple that usually has a dust cap, and painted yellow, that type is used generally in the engineering field when oil is your choice of lubrication on metal to metal. Hope that helps.

Buen día Lucía. Your skid loader is coming along quite well. I would like to make a suggestion for your controls. Set them up like a Caterpillar and have bucket controls on your right and tractor controls on your left. This way you develop muscle memory and can run a dozer with ease. All controls for a payloader and a backhoe loader are easily operated by your right hand. This is important because it helps on the learning curve. You may never operate a caterpillar skid loader, but just say that if your machine is set up like them, you or whomever you train to operate your machine will quickly adapt to a Caterpillar machine. You could further your videos in the future teaching people how to operate equipment. You could get sponsorships by equipment companies to help you
@gregorycross612
@gregorycross612 Год назад
The two different control formats are called Case and ISO pattern. I greatly prefer the CASE, on newer machines preference selection is simply touch of a button. I converted my older CAT to Case Control format. On excavators the formats are called back-hoe/loader and ISO. Often there is a sliding plate rotary valve on machine that allows you to swap.

Grease fittings are called Zerk fitting in the US or grease nipple, grease zerk, or Alemite fitting is a metal fitting used in mechanical systems to feed lubricants, usually lubricating grease, into a bearing under moderate to high pressure using a grease gun. The good news is, you should be able to simply drill a hole into the joint race and thread it for a fitting. Then grab a grease gun and pump until the cavity is full. That will "feed" the bearings, but more critically, prevent buildup of dirt and moisture or in my case, we have mud wasps that fill every hole with dirt for their larvae.

For safety please use hydraulic sleeves on the hoses especially on the hoses that are within a meter from where you are sitting on the loader. These sleeves protect you against the high pressure in hydraulic systems when a hose bursts and protect against nasty injuries. @davidstephens1092
@davidstephens1092 Год назад
Hey Lucia, it looks to be coming along well. Control layout type is very much a personal preference but after a while most people seem to be able to adapt to any type. The main thing to remember when learning, is, if you forget what you are doing just let go of the controls and it will all stop. I learnt in a Cat then drove a Toyota, a Bobcat, a Mustang, a Positrack and where I work now we have a Case which has a control layout very much like what you mentioned with a foot control for the two in one bucket or auxiliary attachment ( Borer etc ). While a lot of people bag "Dirty old Case" gear it is actually an easy layout to learn. While you said that you won't be doing a lot with this machine, I am a little concerned with your upper rear pivots as far as back blading goes, I have seen and repaired a lot of machines where the pivot has been torn out of the arm and the damage to hoses etc can be major. As someone said elsewhere in the comments stop blocks low on the front are important to feed the forward load into the machine and reduce the load on the upper pivots, however the upper pivots as good as wear the full force if you snag a large rock or similar when back blading. I am a fan of greasing points recessed in the end of pivot pins, they are nearly always accessible and rarely get broken off. Good luck.

Most skidsteers that I have run all have been foot control for the boom and bucket. While I have used joysticks I can not tell you which one I like the best. I would meed a couple more thousand hours in a joystick control unit. I have driven brand new units and old units. I much like the 873 bobcat I put over 2500 hours on vs the S300 and the T650 brand new machine, also ran a S650 it was the worst machine ever. Weight balanced for the type of work we used it was just a bad machine. The S300 was balanced very well along with the 873.

The joystick layout you describe in the video is H pattern which is okay but I would recommend you look into ISO, (left joystick operated all drive functions/ Right joystick operates all lift/tilt functions) Myself and many other operators i know prefer ISO.

Good job and nice interesting videos. If I may recommend, use non-flammable clothing when welding. I was welding in a sports jacket and my sleeve caught fire :)

It would be a pretty good thing if a LOT of females watched your videos, because there would be a heck of a lot of common sense being learned . Your husband and family must be pretty proud of you doing what women don't/won't do . Your practical common sense and knowledge is off the charts Lucia . I've watched many of your videos and your finished product is generally better that the mass produced units . This may not, but there isn't a man on earth that will even TRY to make a skid steer COMPLETE . You're ALL woman and a whole lot more >

Grease zerk's. In English you don't really call it lubrication. Just Grease.

Hi, just discovered your channel. Fantastic job you're doing there. Thanks for showing the pipe bender build. Exactly how you are doing all that welding without burning through your pullover is a bit of a mystery. Your arms must be made of titanium or something. I have to wear an apron, gauntlets and forearm covers cuz those molten sparks really hurt.

It’s unfortunate that you are doing this but not for the reason you would think I would say. The project is amazing and your skills are excellent but clearly you are not American and that’s where the problem arises. Where does an American find a woman with skills like this? Hahaha you shame your peers. We joke about American women making sandwiches and they complain about it, I could only imagine asking an American woman to build a skid steer out in the garage 😂. I can’t wait to see this completed and my only complaint is that I don’t have one myself.

Those control valves look quite small for the flow you will need, how much flow do you need to get it to move as a factory bought skid steer?

don’t know yet if you have installed any boom arm stabilizers or if you even need them with your design, the machine looks a bit like a Cat 259D model , i’m pretty darn impressed with your work i work with these machines every day as a mechanic and seeing you build something as technical and precise is just amazing

if ya need any help with the hydraulics system, hit me up. I was a hydraulics/pneumatics engineer for aircraft in the Marines years ago and used to rebuild hydraulic systems on trucks and such for a while when I was younger. they are fairly simple. best thing is a good reservior small accumulicator to keep pressure up for you when off (once side is nitrogen filled with a bladder in the middle). I suspect you will be running around 1500psi operating pressures (maybe 3k but not really normal for a small hydraulic system like this). the accumulator will help you tons. you will need to make sure yoou have plenty of 1-way check valves for the system as well. on the connections you made to the cylinders, the banjo style bolts are not designed to handle the kind of pressue your going to throw at it. maybe for a short whyile but they will leak and fail. I would recommend you repalce them with 90* AN style fittings and flair the tubes and connect them to the fittings to ensure solid and good connections.

A suggestion that might help to smooth the steering controls. Since you don't have variable displacement pumps to control wheel speed and so far all are hand controls, add a foot throttle or accelerator pedal to vary engine speed to make driving smoother. The other foot can be for the auxillary circuit for things like a bucket grapple. Thanks for another great video.
