I love your excitement and enthusiasm! Your positive energy makes me smile. Have you and Poppy considered getting a comfy upholstered chair for the lounge? It might be nice angled in the huge opening next to the side tables for the sofa. You and Alfie lounging on hardwood floors for a three-hour movie doesn’t sound or look very comfortable. Just a thought...

Ok so... I really love the lighting set up, it's amazing. I have Philips Hue bulbs and love them! One issue I do have is the placement of your furniture in the living space. Maybe your TV is in that location because of the cable or something but I really feel the TV and the sofa should be switched. With the sofa in it's current location you can't see very well the people coming thru the door to the living room and if you had the sofa on the other wall you could actually talk with anyone that might be in the kitchen cooking. Sorry i'm sure it's a bizarre comment but it's something that kind of bugs me every time I see it in one of your vlogs. lol have a wonderful day, keep up the good work!

Hey it’s not bizarre haha I appreciate your comment!! So it may not come across in the videos but the two spaces are still quite close together. So people sitting at the table can see and speak to this who are on the sofa, where as like you said those who are physically in the kitchen are separated. I think it’s nice to keep the separation of the actual kitchen but we still get the open feel. 🙌

Thats pretty cool. Is it distracting though with the way it goes dark? Think I'd like it just as mood lighting. I get vertigo and think this would affect me with the dimming during a movie 🤔

So with all movies, the light reactions will be different, but the thing I love most about the sync box is how customisable it really is! You can change the intensity through the app so it can appear much calmer on the lower setting whereas I like a more quick change reaction. Therefore the effects will seem much more like mood lighting on the lower intensity 😊I hope this helps !

You sure can, I was saying to someone in the comments above! We love having the lights on a more, static setting when not set for entertainment. That way we can enjoy more ambient lighting when we are just chilling 🙌

is Ciara not a common name in England? I have heard a lot of English youtubers pronounce storm Ciara the way you did. Here in Northern Ireland & Ireland it's a pretty common name but it's pronounced like Kee-ra, Like Ciaran without the 'n'!

Mel McCaughey It depends on where you are in the world as to how you pronounce words that are spelled the same. Spanish also pronounce it like America, and the Spanish name Ciara is a derivative of name Sierra. In America back in 1973, Revlon came out with a fragrance called Ciara, pronounced [see-AIR-uh]. The Irish and Gaelic pronunciations are with a hard C [KEER- uh]. They are all correct, depending on what version you prefer or where you’re from.

@@EEN63 Yes I totally agree, and I know there's the singer Ciara that is pronounced Sierra too. This was a UK storm though, and the Met Office named it using the Irish pronunciation, so it is definitely supposed to be said with the hard 'r'. I just found it interesting that English people tend to use the American pronunciation, when in another part of the UK (N. Ireland) we have Ciara as a relatively common name, pronounced the Irish way.

Mel McCaughey That is odd. You would think they would pronounce it the way the people who named the storm pronounced it. And if the meteorologists reporting the weather were having trouble pronouncing it properly, you’d think they could write it phonetically on the teleprompter. I’m clueless as to why people are picking whatever pronunciation they want, unless the media isn’t consistent and causing confusion. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
