Could a luggage rack be added to the top? I saw one DC outlet it looked like on the dash, perhaps an extra one or two could be added on the dash and perhaps 1 or 2 in the rear also. I could see leaving the passenger seat in the front left down with perhaps a small cooler sitting on it for long trips, you pull a soda out and pit it in the cup holder at a red light and then keep on truckin' a small storage tote with a small hole cut in the top next to it for garbage to keep it off the floor and no tipping over, a single vacationer's (or salesman's) dream.
I would use it for camping. Add a mini kitchen in the rear (like those in tear drop campers) but leave the seats as is. If you can increase clearance a couple inches and mount better tires for mud. That would be great. Question: what is the 15 year old rule for these trucks? Daniel
Depending on where you were from will depend on what your import laws are. In Canada these types of vehicles must be 15 years old to even get them into the country. The US is 25 years for road use (state dependant) and no age restriction for off-road use but must be speed restricted to 25mph.
@@4sonsoffroad Not sure if you have seen this recently, but if you need a state by state breakdown on mini-truck legality in the US, here you go: www.iihs.org/iihs/topics/laws/minitrucks
Build a mini overland camper out of it and adapt a set of SUPER ATV portal hubs better off road tires and a winch and I think you'll have an awesome little rig
Great units, look at that headroom! Just wondering if you ever took it to 100km/hr and what the rpms were? Also, looks like you could fit a taller rear tire for a higher top speed if you got a 2wd version?
At 100kph your basically at 6000rpm they just aren't geared for the highway. Even if you put a bigger tire, at 50hp your just going to run out of power.
