My daughter always did math year round. She could go slower and really work at understanding the hard stuff and she didn’t have time to forget before starting the new school year.
Yes! I love that about homeschooling. We can go slower and make sure she’s learning everything! We can also skip things that are just a waste of time. We have had some projects that were just not necessary this year so we skipped a few of them. It’s been a hard year this year for school with the loss of our son. Hopefully next year will be better. I would you like to say than you again for the binder I won from your 1k giveaway. My brother passed away several years ago (committed suicide). My Mom still has rough days. She said it never really goes away. Her best advice is to concentrate on the good times you had when he was around.

In the grand scheme of things, it has not been very long ago that you got the horrible news. 😊 It is a wound that will never completely go away. You are doing your best to get through it, but please give yourself some grace. No one expects you to do all the things. Do as much as you are able to and don’t stress yourself out over it. If you don’t get to your Savings Challenge Books, there is always next year. 🙂🙃🙂

When my kids were little, we did some educational things as well. Reading at the Public Library program and math flashcards. Give yourself some grace to mourn.

This past school year, we decided to try homeschool due to a hectic schedule. We are still having school as well. Love watching your videos. I don't mind an unedited video at all!
