Start to finish indepth walk through of how to replace the rocker cover gasket on a mini cooper S R53 MSD Coil pack video • Mini Cooper S R53 MSD ... Stainless steel rocker cover bolt kit www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-R50-R...
Nice vid guys, just bought a R53 cooper s too and think there's a little oil seeping from the back of the rocker cover as you said so i will be doing that very very soon also will be watching this vid as i go for some guidance 💪🏼thanks
Great video and content. I am planning to do this on my own r53 2005 cooper s sometime soon. I am alittle worried about those bolts as some of mine look pretty nasty. I just hope they dont snap. Stainless steel replacements are a brilliant idea. I has some original BWM replacements which were not cheap but now stainless is definitely the way to go. Thanks for taking the time to film this. I also can only work on my car on my drive etc with axel stands etc so the content is super relevant for me. Is a great hobby and break from work for me :)
First of all thank you for your comment. Stainless steel is the way to go, minimising the rust issue. It will be a pain removing the original studs and bolts but so worth it, just take your time and hopefully it will be fine. P.S On the drive is how you learn rather than pay someone else to do the work and its cheaper. Its the exact reason we started our channel. Let us know if there is anything else you need guidance through that we haven't already covered and we will do our best to help if we can. Again thanks for your great feedback.

Hi mate. Thank you. 🙌🏻 We don't im afraid. it is pretty straight forward though. if i remember rightly the throttle body being removed lets you get space to take the right side off. Hope that helps.
