I have a question . I don't want to offend anyone . What is the point in having a artifical baby ? Is it about collecting ? ( i don't understand collecting things) . Or some kind of substitution ? Or are there various individual reason ? Sorry again. I really want to know
It helps some people with dementia or it can help parents of a miscarriage a stillborn or a baby who died from some kind of sudden death Or they really like collecting them because they find them adorable
It can help people express their maternal or paternal instincts if they cannot have babies of their own. Or, as others have said, it can help with grief, as well as dementia (my mum has dementia and adores her reborn). Or, it can solely be for the art of it.
I think its just very cute. Its like having a doll. You can dress it up. Go on walks. All little girls love playing with baby dolls I dont see why adults cant enjoy it as well
I’m happy that you have a collection that you obviously love but I can’t be the only person who is totally freaked out by these dolls that look so lifelike. But I repeat I do not want to put you down at all. I guess it’s great that we are all so different in our tastes and hobbies xx
