Hey folks, Found about this super late into the editing process of this one - please consider checking out the linked Bundle for Ukraine to support those in need: itch.io/b/1316/bundle-for-ukraine
oh snap! I'm working a quite long Alone in the Dark retrospective right now and I immediately recognize Glass Suitcase's art style and gameplay inspirations. Very cool!
Melon Tapes brought me here! So glad I found your channel! Here are some little horror gems that I'm sure you'll love: Sylvio, White Night, Euclidean and Abyssal Somewhere. Keep up the good work, bucko!
Hi :) I’ve watched a good portion of ur videos this last week and just wanna say u make good content! it’s some interesting games of choice, ur voice is nice it’s good and calm narration, I like how every video is structured, intro preview, game review, conclusion without spoiling everything. I like how each video I’ve seen seem to have vision behind how u wanna present the game to us viewers or however u say it. The short logo flash with the retrosound is perfect imo heheh so yeah it’s just nice watching ur stuff is what I try to say and I don’t think anything needs changing. I hope the algorithm picks you up. much love! :)
I've played an earlier version of Anger Foot, and agree with most of your analysis. It's exactly what I want from something on itch dot io. A small, playable, almost old school shareware type experience. Anger Foot felt like Heavy Bullets by way of Hotline Miami. The game tracks your best time and kill rate, so it almost slides into risk/reward analysis (safer play styles are slower). Which kind of makes it a puzzle twitch shooter? Like, there's a level where I can ignore the guy shooting at me through a window because I can kick a door through him later...but I need to make sure to never stop moving and make sure I never travel towards or away from the shooter AND make sure I enter that room with at least a single bullet, since the shooter blocks the door from hitting another target in the narrow hallway. Not turning to shoot him saves me two seconds, but vastly increases my risk. Finding those little moments that let you shave seconds off a run, and perfecting your timing during the implimention of that new approach, puts it squarely in "super replayable" territory for me. Great review(s)!
Such a shame on the lack of Dredd sequel. Judge Death Apocalypse War with East Meg One Necropolis Ken Watanabe as Judge Sadu So many missed opportunities
I remember playing Dredd vs Death back in the day, I guess it turns out the technical issues weren't the fault of my aging machine after all. My main takeaway from it was that it was a shame they chose to adapt the 'Dark Judges' stuff for it - felt like kind of a waste to have such a unique setting and then use it for mostly just shooting zombies.
I love that through these multi-review videos we get to see some of the ones that didn't fit a full video - cos it's still super cool to hear your thoughts on these games ;D the maze scene in glass staircase still disturbs the heck out of me because it throws me back to Castlevania on the N64. 😅 Also idk why but the enemy design in anger foot kinda makes me think of Muppets (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)っ Looking forward to another video in this series! Also sorry if i comment spam, you're my company while i have flu 🤪🧡
