Thank you so much! A brilliant tutorial - I can now have a go at making the smaller slimline cards and not worry about where to get envelopes. I can make my own. xxx
Hi I am from the Philippines and it really cost a lot to buy dies abroad as they don't sell the mini slimline dies yet. Thank you for sharing how to make these envelopes. It's really a big help in terms of expenses...excited to try this out! Happy crafting!
Hey sweet friend! I miss seeing you! Love your video and your envelopes! I am hooked on mini Slim lines right now, so this is right on time for me! Thank you!
Hey there Lady!! I miss doing my own videos...been doing a lot for other channels. I caught the mini slimline bug too...lol so glad this was helpful for you. I appreciate you. Hugs, my friend.
@@eastwickspaperandink same... In terms of doing things for everybody else. I had to take a step back and re-evaluate. If you're interested, I'd love to do a collab sometime. On our own terms, in our own time... No pressure no stress
Thank you so much for sharing this! I also bought an envelope die from a well known company and it was WAY too small! Really appreciate you going to all this effort and sharing with those of us who are also struggling with the slimline sized envelopes. You're the best!
Thank you so much, Terri!! I agree they are expensive, so glad this was helpful to you…it certainly was for me. 🤗 I appreciate you watching and commenting. ❤️ Katy
Thank you so much Pam!! So glad this was helpful. I never thought there were all these sizes for mini slimline…I just found another one last night…lol thanks for watching my friend. I appreciate you. ❤️
I mean no disrespect, but I observe that you are working too hard, having to handle so many pieces. I am able to adapt to any size policy envelope by a formula to allow using a single sheet of paper with minimal cutting: Add 3 inches to height of card (1 in. bottom flap, 2 in. top flap), double width of card and ad 1 1/4 in. a 4 by 6 card would require paper dimensions: 9 1/4 by 9. To determine back flaps: First score at one-half of card width plus 1/4 inch (2 1/4 in), add width of card plus 1/8 in (1/4 in) to first score and score 6 1/2) allowing for wiggle room. This has been adaptable to any size card and without requiring a die and so many pieces. Hope this is helpful.
Thanks Alton. I appreciate you thinking I work to hard. I am sure my subscribers will love having the information you left, very helpful. Have a fantastic day. Oh, and I hope you didn’t leave a thumbs down because I chose to cut up my card stock to create my envelopes. Everyone has there way of creating…this just happens to be mine.
@@eastwickspaperandink You are welcome. I hope that you find it helpful when you have that occasional card that is difficult to match with an envelope.
