He's never gonna get out of the "mini Upchurch" if he doesn't start reppin his own squad and gettin his own peeps. He needs to find his own lane. Upchurch raps about Creeksquad because that is HIS thing. Trae can still rep Creeksquad, but he's gotta start doin his own thing with his own squad in his lyrics, otherwise, sure he will do alright but he won't reach full potential because people will say he is just tryin to ride Church's coattails since he is always talkin about Creeksquad and mentioning it. Do your thing Trae and you will go far. Rely on your self and your own following. Keep pushing forward and it will all come through. ( I have not always been the biggest Trae fan either, but he's got talent )

Agreed. You have to make a name for yourself at some point. Tagging Upchurch in every video cuts it for now, but once that dries up, he'll have to "sink or swim." He's got talent, lets see how he uses it.

It's not just that. I mean, yeah, he mentions Church, and Creeksquad, but I'm hearing a strong ACal influence. And, kinda seeing it, too, in his movements. Aside from building his own fan base, he also needs to develop his own style, his own method of delivery. But, he's young. He's got to start somewhere, I suppose. And, as far as getting noticed goes, he's figured out how to do that. He HAS been noticed. Now that he's achieved that, let's see if he can build his own brand. I hope that he does. I want to see him succeed.

These were definitely shots at Acal,no trespassing sign,mic hanging like Acals video,Goon Squad hat while saying might as well light the mic on fire which Adam does in a 2 of his videos cause you can't walk in these boots,calling him a fake country rapper,even said wish you wood going back to Acals chorus in "Catch Hell" with Katie Noel and then threatening to name drop for clicks and views which is how Acal just called reactors out for pushing beef for clicks and views

You say that like it's a bad thing. But, I suppose that we all do that, in some way, shape, form, or fashion. Clout is just another way of saying respect and recognition, really. And, most of us want that. It may be desired at a social level, or it may be sought after professionally. Even if the recognition isn't so important, we all want, at least, to be respected in our social circles and at work.
