Well it was - it was a top 10 hit in the UK, it made #7 - but I think the level of pre-release airplay and hype it had had, especially owing to the fact that Brian Higgins and Xenomania did their music, and they as producers had just come off the back of a purple patch with Girls Aloud having a massive hit with "The Promise" and winning their BRIT meant there was big expectations and suggestions this would be a number one. When it wasn't it was the beginning of the end of both Xenomania's domination of pop music and also Mini Viva's long term chances, especially releasing their follow up so close to Christmas where it got lost entirely, they never recovered from that.
One of the few original talented acts in a decade and they get dropped.music industry is a fucking joke when most of the new acts are provided by tv shows.
@turthtalker ...ummmm, they didn't even write their own tunes. and since xenomania has other acts that sell shitloads, why would they continue to waste their time?
what was with that six six six six six part? love the song but that kinda turns me off.. they don't seem like devil worshippers to me, but that line doesn't really go with the song..
