OMG, after all these years, I finally know why, when you're in line at the airport and the guy checks your passport, he asks for your name. It's not so he can cross reference with the name on the passport, it's so he can gauge whether you're trying to talk with a watercolor palette in your mouth.

The bigger one definitely takes a bit more practice to get used to, but offers so much more flexibility. But the little one is soooooo cute.

Oh i also glued a little container to a bracelet i have to kake a palette similar to yours but its fits 5-6 pans. ❤

My reasoning for not wanting a super large kit is because im in WV and I'm usually hiking and evert oz if weight i can get rid of really makes a difference. Not big enough to go as small as an a6 😂but still. Id rather have a pallete of only orimaries and and an a5 then have a tiny sketchbook and a ton of colors. ❤ Fourth comment lol

That is a really good point! Thanks for sharing. I would love to know more about the watercolors you do on your hikes. Are you backpacking in WV?

@@MarleyPeifer don't bother with the watercolor version. You can't layer. It's very frustrating. I love cellulose paper but every time you layer (attempt to) it just blends with the previous layer

The upside of the small one is economical. The other pallet with all the colors will cost you in the hundreds of dollars.

Hi Margot, that is a great point. I think it cost $150 when I bought it. Most expensive art investment ever but so worth it because it replaced hundreds of dollars of markers, colored pencils, etc...
