Seascape with beach, 2 landscapes high and low horizons lines loose watercolour techniques, experimental techniques, beginners watercolour, mini projects
Thank you Linda. I have completed these mini art works. They are lovely and were fun to do. I actually did 6 beach scenes, and adapted them to my favourite area of our south coast. You are very inspirational.
Thank you Linda if I'm ever in Kiama I'll pop in and I've put an order in with Office Works it's available for pick up today so I'll be looking forward to using it Much appreciated
Linda: Thank you so much for these. I think we all get stuck sometimes and your comments and ideas help me to go on. I have learned so much, I love how you did the waves. You are such an inspiration!
@@lindabrownartist I watch all your tutorials a couple of times. Then I mix the colours and give them a try . I started painting last September I have never done any art prior and U Tube is my only teacher . I have been a shut in since covid, water colours have saved my sanity and I love it. I am turning 72 in December
Hi Linda, I just discovered your channel and must tell you how much I have enjoyed this little playtime video. It's so inspiring to just play and see what happens without worrying if a painting will turn into something "great" hahaha I live in Canada and today it's cold and snowy so such a treat to be warm inside enjoying your art tutorials.
Ah Canada, I have family there and know it gets very cold! I live in Australia however the last few weeks the weather has been dreadful here, it’s definitely not the summer we’re used to. Cold, rain etc. However today the sun has finally shown herself, and the early morning kookaburra chorus has begun :) It’s so uplifting to wake to a lovely day! I created many of these videos in our winter months and during covid isolation, it kept me occupied lol and it’s always good to challenge yourself 😀 Enjoy playing x
Yes, I'm so sorry to be MIA. I have been working towards a major solo exhibition which has been hung and is on show now. I'll be making new video's very soon xxx thanks for reaching out
@@lindabrownartist That is absolutely wonderful news! I wish I could attend and see your work in person. I am so glad you are well and moving forward with your personal goals and career. Thank you for sharing that with me. Linda
These were stunning. Love your tutorials and your style. Thank you for sharing your talent. Love the smaller size paintings as I am fairly new to watercolor and large size intimidate me. I shall give these a go! 💙
I really enjoyed this, I have only been doing any kind of art for the last six months and found this session wonderful Love the colour scheme really chuffed at what I have created. I don't have any acrylic as I only have watercolours and a couple tube of gouache, it worked OK for the waves as a first timer.
@@lindabrownartist not far away at all unless we are in lockdown then we are all far away, we often are down that way as we housesit in Shaolhaven area
Hi Linda I live in Adelaide and was pleased when you said that you're in Australia I'm guessing also in SA? Where is your studio? I'd love to pop in for a look and to meet you. Can you please tell me where you purchased that guillotine that cuts the wavy edges, I love the look which goes especially well with those small paintings? I've seen a deckle edge ruler on the net (unavailable to find one in Aust) but the guillotine looks to be a better purchase
Hi there, I live near Kiama on the NSW South coast. My studio is at Port Kembla, a 15 min drive from home. I bought my guillotine from office works it came with a straight edge and a deckle edge blade.
