Awesome scale looking truck! You even made some air vents behind the front fender! Those GoPro shots are just like the real thing. It looks amazing, well done, thumbs up.
This has to be the best scale replica RC model out there ,your video skills are amazing great vision for the shots . One criticism ..... You gotta get that inside front wheel off the ground in the corners ....LOL
+Sean logie Really appreciate that Sean, this is definitely my favorite build. I didn't think I would actually run it with this body but that's what it's for right? But yeah haha it was missing that. I stiffened up the shocks expecting some jumps but there weren't many.
Wickeeeed! Dude, I am sitting at work, on a Sunday, with a headache, but your video just made me grin for the whole time! Those camera angles, off the hook! And what a suhweet machine! That suspension, hrrrngh!
+YensR Thanks, that's honestly the best thing I could possibly hear :) So happy you enjoyed it, I aim to please! and this whole time I haven't gotten your name!
THIS! This is absolutely amazing! Great work as usual! Almost Everyone who has taken up this hobby has a common goal. and YOU, my friend, have achieved it! Another job well done!
Sweet Mother of GOD that is amazing!!!! I'm a huge fan of well tuned suspension and yours is spot on! I have a Yeti Score Trophy Truck on its way and I hope to upgrade a bunch of stuff on it, add some much needed weight at the rear and down low and try to get the suspension as badd-assed as yours!
+Mike Bromelow Yes! I appreciate the comment Mike! Glad you enjoy the vids, can't wait to shoot some more. I just picked up a score myself so I'll be messing with that as well.
There is no few words to tell how AWESOME it is! Crazy video Cycon, a unique truck (almost a piece of art there) ;) Keep doing with your work! You'll just keep amazing me! (RC recoil will be soon right?)
shit's bananas man. amazing little truck. you might literally be the inspiration for major RC brands to pump out little electric rock bashers and trophy trucks...I'm looking at you, Axial. Just cranking out new trucks like the world's about to end. Axial has a brand new one that doesn't look far off from yours. Except in the way that yours would run rings around it, but hey....they have keep the costs down so shmucks like me can buy one. =)
+Anthony Lindenmuth Thanks Anthony :) I know for certain I have been, I started building these years ago. I'm shocked it took this long honestly, but it's going to be great for this hobby. Scale racing has been wanted for a long time, and now it can finally happen. Imagine a scale SCORE series, how sick would that be!!
Awesome video! Do you think you'll build a truck with 4wd? Would look really forward to, if the truck would be available with 4wd I won't wait with ordering one
One quick question for you, how do you stop the rear end of the truck from raising up when you give it throttle? That's the issue i'm having with mine. Every time I give it the gas, the rear suspension goes up all the way.
+8imthatguy8 Thank you. As far as a thread there's never been a good place for these builds, but mine is on rcshortcourse. www.rcshortcourse.com/forum/general-desert-racing/46173-cycons-project-zeus-v2-12.html
At evo customs, would I be able to have a special Bryce Menzies body done when I buy the truck or is that not an option? Also, I would have to buy mounts for all the electronics right?
Also, would I be able to buy just a body that comes painted and everything from you guys? You bodies are SOOOO detailed I would only want one done by you.
Yea next time I'll get more. It's a sick shot but the camera can really get f-ed up. One time the latch broke and the gopro went flying. But here are some other ones I posted facebook.com/cyconxc.rc/videos/646259615515068/ instagram.com/p/BDLuv-ayYNT/?taken-by=cyconxc
Axial did a great job on the Yeti Score Trophy Truck but your trucks make the Yeti Score TT look terrible. No offense to Axial, no one can compete with your builds! Keep up the great work Cycon!
Don't know if you answered this kind of question yet. But how do you make your rig not squat when taking off from the start. Do you add another pair of rear shocks? Also what is the platform you based minizues off of?
The shocks in this video were set up pretty stiff, but it depends on the surface if it squats or not. This truck only has 2 rear shocks. As far as the platform it shares the same wheelbase as most sc trucks (13.25"), it just has a slightly narrower track width.
Thank you for the information. Your videos are amazing! Watching the whoops killer made me want to go out and buy a TT. Keep up the nice work bud. Trucks look really good.
+targetingxmod Both the mount and chassis are steel, so when I mount the gopro and tighten it down well, it won't move, giving me those nice onboard shots :) no gimball.
