Practice! Don't be afraid to fail, because trial and error helps perfect things. It's good to be displeased with how the earliest pieces turn out, so you know where you need to improve. Never get discouraged, and don't give up! Svetlana may not have gotten so good overnight, and I sure didn't. (She is better than me, and I'm no slouch. And I have improved by watching her techniques!)
It looks like she leaves it in the mold. Silicone withstands 700°F, and clay doesn't even need that much. I also think it might smush the project if one tried to remove it before baking. And, she only illuminates one cupcake in it, in this video. It might also be advantageous to use al those vessels in the mold, and bake them all at once.
You might watch other videos on her channel, there are certain ones in which she displays full videos on the products she uses. Some of such videos answered more questions than I had, before I watched others. But, yes, for starters, it is polymer clay. But she shows which brands are easier to work with, and her preference.
