Sharing steps to make easy gnome with air dry clay..ehm cute gnome or funky gnome? what do you think? He went to visit our newly built miniature fairy house with pyramid roof shape. He knocked the door for looong and finally the fairy door was opened at night time :) ha..ha.. that's my imagination.
Alright! in this video you'll see that I have made the house with toilet paper roll tube. I coat the inside part and the door with homemade texture paste to make the paper stiff. I place the tube on cardboard and built up the volume with old magazine paper. I use masking tape to bind the magazine paper. Normally, we add paper strips that was dipped into the glue and cover the paper mass when we do paper mache, but, I skip that step because I use clay to cover the magazine anyway.
For the roof, this is unique because it has pyramid shape....a fun way to learn geometry ??

For the clay it self, I use homemade paper clay (video link: • Easy Paper Clay from B... ) But, you can use any type of air dry clay for this project.
