Thank you so much for this tutorial and free templates, you are awesome! Do you have any advice for those who may do this using wood instead of cardstock paper? Thanks.
All I can say is to make sure you're using wood with the same thickness mentioned in the project, otherwise you might have some issues with connecting all the various elements together (it would still be doable, but you'd have to discard the template and adjust all the measures by hand). Other than that I think the process would stay pretty much identical 😍 (and if you happen to make this with wood, PLEASE send me the pictures of the finished piece, I'm super curious 😍😍😍)
I've been OBSESSED with photo paper lately! I'm kind of kicking myself for not thinking of it sooner 🤦♀️😅🤣 Ps. Hope your studio is now up and running, so you can start making new minis! 😍
Aw thank you! You can find the free printable template linked in the video, and the digital version for cutting with a Cricut or a Silhouette cutting machine is in my shop payhip.com/SimplystellaMiniatures 😊❤
Oh boy, I always use cardstock from old packaging which comes in all sorts of sizes so I'm not quite sure! Depending in the thickness of the cardstock (the lighter it is the more layers you'll need to cut to get to the right thickness) I'm gonna guess you'll need somewhere between 6 and 12 but I can't be sure 🫣🤔
Hey Stella, You must have read my mind. Just today I was thinking "Hey Simply Stella hasn't posted for a while. I wonder why? Hope she's O.k." and just like you've read my mind, you posted this (yet another) AMAZING project. Thanks you. Your fan🤣 There, now you're famous with followers and fans😂. How does it feel?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh well, I was too busy signing autographs and posing for the paparazzi 🤷♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣 omg thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the project. It took a while to finish but hopefully it was worth it 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@SimplystellaTV You did a brilliant job. I'm really impressed with how you come up with these ideas and the way you implement them. Enjoy your time in the limelight and bask in the flashes of the paparazzi. I truly am a fan of your work. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely! Simply select all and resize to 50% in Design Space before cutting 😊 The only thing is the little logo might become too little to cut in 1:12! Maybe it's better to print it 🤔
I don't have any personally so I can't check 😢 - from what I understand though, miniverse minis aren't super consistent with scale, so I'm guessing some items might fit but not others 🤷♀️ As a reference, my fridge is 1:6th (Barbie dolls) so anything in that approximate scale will fit into it! 😊
Oh that's weird! I tested it just now and it appears to be working. I also have an alternative link in my description and pinned comments in case you have troubles with the direct link! 😊
