I’ve always mainly done “cutesy, sweet, colourful” type stuff,,,, but man o man, you are really inspiring my “darker” side. Love everything you do. Looking forward to the book.
I went to art school, where I wanted to incorporate textiles and miniatures into my final project. I was told it was “women’s work” and even though I proceeded, I felt pretty awful and ashamed after that comment, to the point that I barely made any art afterwards (we’re talking 8 years, now). Watching these videos has been so fun and inspiring that I’ve started modifying a miniature kit, and I have plans to experiment some more after I’ve finished it. So thanks, Ashley, for having fun and sharing it with the world. You’re awesome, and I hope the god of circle windows bestows you with many circular blessings. And a circle window. Seriously, someone get this woman a circle window!
The CryptKeeper was from the TV show Tales From The Crypt. Now it'll stop driving you crazy lol. (I wish people would do this for me, so I'm glad to be the person I hope to encounter one day for someone else today 😁 ) Edit : should've finished the video before commenting.
I have wanted that mold forever and ever but I don't know anything about resin. I have some but I haven't delved into that yet but that mold is totally on my list. I was wondering..... why are they cursed items? how did they get cursed again? did someone curse them? how DO they get cursed exactly? do YOU curse at them? did you curse at them and that's how they got cursed and that's how they got cursed because you were cursing at them while you were making the cursed items? I tried to use the word curse as many times as I possibly could in that stream of consciousness, or maybe run on sentence-s. I don't know, I can't type so I just use stream of thought (i.e. voice to text) when I'm speaking and it just comes out as run-on sentences..... or babble. I love this by the way I absolutely love how you did it, I love how you made a layer and the undergrowth and everything. Yes people do get buried with photos. People put photos with them all the time. In fact if you want a fake example watch Batman vs Superman. He got buried with a photo of his father. It was very prominent in the next movie. But that's my thing, not sure if many other people are into that sort of stuff. Anyways, again loving everything!! Please do a tutorial on how to make bloody guts, do you use air-dry clay or Sculpey or fimo, or maybe that's a super secret. If it is I don't want to delve into your super secrets, that's just rude. I don't want to be rude. Thank you for making this you're the best! P.S. totally just went and bought the book
Love it! It's got lots of cool miniatures, and creepy stuff in the glass coffin! I wonder where you can find a "glass" coffin? Anyway, I enjoyed your video, Ashley! ~Janet in Canada
I love this so much!! Really love the dichotomy aspect of it.. is that the right word? The opposites? I don’t know. I love that they’re opposites, like spooky one one side and cheerful on the other ❤
Why not make a catacomb or an ossuary church? Might as well add all the bones! And make a furniture with them! …. I decorate with skulls bats and rocks lol 😂
As someone who literally works in cemeteries as a full time job I approve and those succulents are super cute!!⚰🪦🪴 By the way you were right with the Crypt Keeper, he was the host of the show!
