Hope you like my dog folks! This one was a really challenging build, a lot of trial and error, and restarting on occasion too. Projects like this require months and months of work, and on the days (today!) that I share my work, I do get stupidly anxious :D So if you like what you see, do please spread the word. I’m blessed that I can now make a living doing this, and I’d like to be able to for as long as I can! Thanks for all your support! Barnaby
loving all your puppets so far specialy the glow in the dark ones im just wondering.. when is the full movie coming out with all the characters i know i would go to the cinema for it ^^.
This dude is so freaking talented!! Not only does he design these perfect finger puppets that are very movable, but has incredible finger coordination to make them move realistically himself!!
Obviously your puppets are amazing but equally amazing is the detail you put into the actual puppeteering (or puppyteering if you will) - the sounds and realistic mannerism are astonishingly accurate.
This is probably one of my favorites. As someone who works at a doggy day care as a dog trainer you're doing a great job with the movements of the dog. Bot to mention the amazing design that went into this
I cannot express how cool a puppet movie would be with your type of puppets. Your puppets are completely unlike anything I’ve seen and their individual personalities are ✨exquisite✨
This puppet work is beautiful, and so expressive! It’s so amazingly detailed, this makes me so inspired to do what makes me happy, and turn it into a profession! Love this.
One day, I wouldn’t be surprised if you made a full feature film Like a 30 minute movie (or more, who knows) with all the puppets you’ve made With the amount of creativity and personality you get each of them, it would be one heck of a show
1:07 This lesson kind of stayed in my brain for ages. Now whenever I play any sort of animal game I always watch the walk cycles to see if it's criss-cross or realistic. I don't get mad if they're not realistic but now I can tell which creature was animated by who just by the walk cycles.
Lapis Septo Flufftail True but i always remember that since its pretty common for animators to comment on other animators videos, its just i hadnt seen a Crowne Prince comment in quite some time so i was kinda surprised to see the comment.
I was so impressed by the articulations of the hind legs! They move very realistically. Obviously the actual puppeteering is impressive, but I’m most impressed with your crafting and designing ability. Please keep the videos coming. I’ve been binge watching Dabchick this week.
I'm speechless. This is absolutely brilliant. I've never seen puppeteering like this before. The puppets are so detailed and intricately designed to create life and emotion. Stunning. Even the barks were on point. So glad I saw this today, definitely made my day✨ Great job👏👏👏
That is not how this works. These puppets are tools for a skilled puppeteer, each hand crafted for an individual puppeteer. I believe Barnaby does have a video on the subject.
@@someoddusername5677 indeed they weren't. I heard he tried to make a simple one for kids and tried to get the companys along with his idea. But they thought it wouldn't be appealing because the puppet wouldnt be facing the kid.
The amount of creativity this man has is amazing. Coupled with passion and enthusiasm creates a recipe for someone who will change the world, even if it’s just a little
Bladeslinger there’s a lot of intricate parts to it, like with the opening mouth and being able to raise the ears. And even when you create the puppet, you really need some skillful hands in order to move the parts. This guy has had multiple years to practice this stuff, and it’s not something you can master for the first time trying it.
I just found this channel through the “omnichord” (I think it was called that) video and I love your channel and I feel like you are basically the Bob Ross of puppeteering because even though I have never even thought about puppeteering you just make it look really fun and easy so just want to let you know and also you have the sweet voice like Bob Ross too
As a lifetime fan of puppetry, Henson, and modelling/miniature design, it brings me great joy to find your channel. Sometimes I feel like this sort of thing is at risk of becoming something of a "lost art", and talented maker/performers such as yourself give me hope I am wrong. Keep being awesome, man.
