What a cute idea! Nurses also wore watches hanging from a bar brooch. Many mid-century clocks were very atomic looking. It was a popular style. Please post a picture of the kitchen after you hang it. ❤

I love it! My mom had one just like it! I made one years ago but no idea where it is. Thanks for bringing it back. I made one with cutlery all around it but no working clock. Now I want to make one with a working clock....can't wait.

Lisa, it turned out awesome. I have seen miniature ones that were made with toothpicks and the same pins. But I love how yours came out because the clock already has a Starburst design. This was a perfect way to upcycle. Lovely 😍❤️ I do plan on making one in the future.

Lisa! You are so amazing! What a brilliant, unique idea. I have a MCM starburst clock in my dining room. I bought it for $3 (yup $3!) at a yard sale. 😍 Your mini one is the coolest ever! 😎🥰✨

So cute! Love that it’s still working too!will you attach it to the wall with museum wax or something else? A quick note of excitement here- earlier this week, I happened upon a vintage doll, dollhouse, furnishing, toy, etc estate sale! One had to make an appointment to attend the sale and they only let 4 people in at the same time because the house WAS SO FULL it was challenging at times to even get around!! It was truly EPIC!!!!! Almost impossible to describe! There were 1000+ of vintage dolls of all types, variety, sizes, etc. All in either their original clothing or in darling vintage clothes - head to toe! This included dollhouse dolls! They said they had already sold over 1000 dolls, so there had to have been 2000+ when the sale started! Most of the dolls had their original boxes as well!! Also, there were 60+ vintage dollhouses - all types - handmade, cardboard, tin/metal and more! Every house was fully furnished! One could buy the houses fully furnished, unfurnished or select individual items to purchase from inside the houses! Every make and manufacturer, it seemed - Strombecker, Tootsie Toy, Ideal, Renwal, Nancy Forbes, Princess Petite, Jayline, and many more! And there were even dollhouses still in their original boxes - never having been opened! There were hundreds of other vintage toys - metal farm sets, ranch sets, trains, puzzles, etc. There were boxes of vintage doll-making materials and supplies too! The couple who owned it all were lifelong collectors! She did most of the purchasing and researching. He did more of the repairs and restorations! It was just amazing!!! The family only wanted the vintage Barbie dolls and their clothing, accessories, etc. They wanted to sell everything else, and hired the estate sellers for that! Everything was in wonderful condition and prices were good too! I did buy several things! There were many 1/16 dollhouse furniture and accessories! That’s such a rarity to find that scale in my area! They’re going to have the sale again in 2+ weeks for 3 days and that will be the final sale! So, they will be “making even better deals” on the last 1/2 of the last day! They said they have hardly sold any dollhouses (!!) so I’m hoping the 2 I would love to purchase are still there when I return again in 2 weeks! Regardless, I’m sure I will be making a few more purchases then! It was like a dream sale!
