HELP: I cant use my minilab 3 on Reaper. I made sure everything is enabled at the audio/MIDI Devices preferes on the DAW. I choose the Input to be MIDI (All MIDI inputs) on the track and it shows input when I play the keys, confirmed it on the virtual instrument option. BUT, when I try to add a plug in, either if its the Arturia Analog Lab or Reapers options: ReaSynths, none does seem to work... There is input, but there is no sound coming out. What am I doing wrong? Hours trying to fix this.
Hi, Where is this cheatsheet located for download on the website, unable to locate it even after using search many times? - maybe this sheet should be added to the manual for minilab 3 as there is No command reference page in the manual for quick reference.
The negativity in the comments haha. I feel some of you but the same complaints are the reason I returned my Akai and purchased this device…and I love it.
In Arturia's Midi Control Center (free software): Factory Template / Device Settings (upper right corner) / Sleep Mode: choose "SleepMode" instead of "VegasMode" [what a silly name...]
Way too many steps for a simple product that's supposed to be fun. You should have made it simpler and your partner softwares should be free, not just a free trial. Just enough to curb your enthusiasm about this beautiful product..
I am already two hours into the process of registering, installing, entering my email and password 1000th time, but cannot play a single sound. It shows me all colors of a rainbow but NO SOUND, whatever I do. Where is the manual? Why where is nothing in the box and your site and your tutorial are all wrong? Your instructions here are WRONG. For example, it says: A) "You'll be able to download a Midi Control Center": NO, there is no such option. B) There is no "Download latest firmware" either; C) after downloading, installing and running Analog Lab, I see "Activate your license to proceed" against "Midnilab 3 Alpine White": there is no single mentioning of this anywhere. C, D, E) etc.etc. WTF? WHERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PRODUCT I JUST BOUGHT? WHY IT SAYS EVERYWHERE "READY FOR PRODUCTION" BUT I CANNOT PLAY / HEAR A SINGLE SOUND?????????
so, every time i try to download the MCC, it tells me i need to unplug, and replug my device. I do this and everytime my pc shows USB device not recognized. so i end up pushing disconnect lagter and close wizard left with a USB issue. Any help?
Minutes?? Hours and hours. If you are in for a horrible time trying to install all the 'free' software you are in. No clear path for installing. Lots of account making, registrations, switching from one site to another to found out you have to go back to another site were you need another installation needed, ..... Time to make a decent installation guide for all the extra stuff. But the Minilab is great and it's own software too.
This video is not helpful at all. I’m working on a brand new computer, the videos have no sounds, they are blurry and the option for me to load any of these other features are not even there for me. This shouldn’t be this hard especially for a beginner. Perhaps someone who knows their way around these things it’s easy but to advertise this for a beginner is disheartening when the instructions for install are so terrible.
Why dont you just show us instead of just talking about it and telling us just to follow instructions? Like how to actually get on the page with all the programs with the blue license buttons. I just can't get on that page for some reason.
It would be great if it was actually possible to even create an account at this juncture. You'd honestly think that in 2023, businesses would be able to automate things; a day later and no email confirmation or anything. Nothing in spam. I currently have a (new) Minilab 3 that I can't register or use. This is not a great experience so far. Get your poop together Arturia! Up your game!
No help at all. What does this box do? Is it a loop creator? does it record samples? This looks to me like I need to be an Amazon coder to understand how to use this system, and then I need to buy a million software packages to get a decent sound library. $$$$$ for you, zero for me.
anyone here with problems with this midi keyboard? i plug it and sometimes (the most of the times ) it doesn't play! on live ableton and logic. The daw mode also doesnt work.. i bought it yesterday
Just bought the minicab 3 and analogue lab.. fired it up, did all the steps and the knobs aren't mapped to the synth. Really thought they would be mapped out the box, now I have to midi map them for 3000+ presets???
I am really not impressed with the Arturia company at this moment. I purchased a Controller 49 essential and can't find anyone on your website to email to to ask for help. This is the second time in 5 years I try again to use your products and again I find myself alone trying to set up the software center and download what I am supposed to access. I have 2 computers and I can't get the downloads to work on the seconf one which is a Mac book air m1. Can somebody in your company respnd by email to someone who needs suppor???? You suppost palteform is a joke and is built to frustrate and push away people who need help right away!
I don´t know, when i plug usb-c into pc, nothing happens, i must plug usb-c + jack into interface, but still lighting only green arp pad, nothing else. I don´t know if is my new minilab already broken or what. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Reminds me of DVD experience that was awful for those who buy it compared to other ways. Why isn’t there a simplified interface with 5 buttons to install all?
Minilab definitely lost it's "cool" factor by getting rid of 8 encoder/knobs from mk2. Just because you can add faders/sliders to a product, doesn't mean you should. I can already imagine the average user is going to put their mk3 in their backpacks and those faders/sliders are eventually going to get bent, come off or get damaged.
