There's two types of deep house, and I know this is tech, but there's commercial nasty vocal house for the beach masses, then, there's deep house dance music without vocals, just the occasional word now and again and a continuous unbroken dance beat. The difference is dynamic. Underground.
there's plenty of vocal deep house that is very underground. Look at the music from Masters at Work, Strictly Rhythym label, Marques Wyatt, etc. Far from mainstream
