This is a simple bow, done in a similar fashion to the no heat survival bow. I did this as I was getting a lot of requests for a minimal-heat takedown and I also received quite a few questions on whether the sleeve connectors would work on a non-flattened pipe.
The result is rather unusual but it does work. The performance is decent, though the amount of permanent bend in the bow is really bad. One benefit to this is the limbs (which don't bend and basically act like levers) can be easily swapped out for longer or shorter limbs to adjust the poundage of the bow.
At its current length, the bow pulls about 25-30 pounds. Shortening the limbs by about two inches on either side gets about a 40 pound draw. While I still don't reccomend this type of bow, it will work if you don't want to do any flattening. Though if you can do it, a flattened bow will be much safer, easier to shoot, and be more durable in the long run.
Thanks for watching!
