Been a while on the Maschine +. This one initially had loads of samples from my Hydrasynth but after arranging sounded too busy, so stripped it down to let it breathe.
Soundpacks available for the Novation Peak, Korg Minilogue XD, Waldorf Iridium, Hydrasynth, Cobalt 8 & UDO Super 6

Silly question - would exactly the same be possible on a regular Maschine (not +)?

Yes. You could achieve more on the mk3 as you would be able to use 3rd party vsts and fx that you can’t use in standalone. The + can be used in this way as well tethered to your computer in controller mode. But I prefer using standalone and focusing in the box
