Your flat is a typical Finnish flat, from the way it is build, how the windows, heaters, balcony look like to the decorations. 🙂I have seen almost all items (furniture, cups, plates, pots, candle holders etc) in most of the homes in Finland. It is nice, but for me it lacks personality. This is of course my opinion. What matters the most is that you like it and enjoy living there. 😊

Hello Jen. Your appartment is condo style, the high ceilings double the impression of space and importantly, you have a balcony. I believe that real estate contractors should rethink the living space of apartments and include very large balconies to enjoy the warmer season. Also, I much prefer buildings that don't have more than 4 floors. The open concept of your living and dining area is great and your flare for decoration (minimalist with taste) gives it a spirit of peace.

Your apartment is absolutely gorgeous. You've stayed true to your goal and it definitely is cozy, minimal, and beautiful and highly functional as well. If I lived where you do I'd be seriously thinking about redoing my apartment with some of the furniture you have. But I doubt I could find those furniture companies here in the U.S. 😔

It does look lovely but I always ask myself about such minimalist homes : where do you keep your books , and any other household or life style things one accumulates over the years ? Or do you just dispose of stuff 😅I can’t live in a house with no books 📚

Intentional buying, curating and culling. Over time it is easy to stop buying stuff if you have no storage. Books and stuff are hidden in cupboards, or I go to the library and borrow books

We're mindful and intentional with the things we bring to our home. We also have a storage unit downstairs in our apartment building where we store the things we don't need at the moment. We sell and donate also. I store most of my books in the storage cabinets and I go to the library to borrow books. :) I hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching. Have a great weekend.

Don’t get rid of your books! I think this trend is about letting go of things you don’t need, but if you love something keep them! And books on a shelf always look nice imo. Some people don’t have many books and others do. :>

I supposed u have a big living space😂.u've a very good taste.it's really hard to decorate a space full&only neutral colour.it's so sophisticated. I love the way each furniture has it's story and purpose in life.bying&restoring too much sometimes just like wasting too much that we rarely use.a house is our mind.keep it clean and always have space for something new

My apartment is the total opposite lol I’m a bit of a maximalist when it comes to decor but I LOVE minimalist homes. They’re so cozy, simple, and clean. I wish I was more into this style because it’s just refreshing but I have to have color in my home or I start getting depressed lol

Managed to squeeze quite a bit of high end audio gear in there including Kef LSX loudspeakers, Topping A90 D Headphone amplifier and Sennheiser HD 800S headphones, as well a high end phones from Meze and Focal. All great choices.

During the Pandemic I would say I became a minimilist. Many books were purged a.k.a. novels were sold to second hand book stores or given gratis to goodwill. Only certain books are kept forever. I thought my hundreds and hundreds of books would stay with me forever. Well, the Pandemic changed all that, nothing is forever. I am sure my many well read books have found very good homes. Happy New Year 2023!!!

Very nice. I noted the chair at 8:21 is identified as Conform Timeout. It looks very similar to the iconic Eames Herman Miller lounge chair and ottoman, which I love but is out of my price range. Ekornes Stressless has my attention at the moment, and there is a showroom nearby, but I will try to find a Conform to compare. Thank you for the tour.

it's very impressive how you keep your apartment so tidy and clean after one year. im wondering where you put your books? that made me headache when my boyfriend brings his "thousands" of books in our apartment
