I am a minimal packer and a woman. Through years of travel, I got tired of bringing things I never use. Using multipurpose items, clothing that can mix and match (plan those outfits! don't bring "options" just for the sake of options), and doing the occasional laundry, I can honestly bring a carry on sized suitcase and still have room for souvenirs. Most things can be bought so I try to reduce those "just in case" items. I bring a packable tote that takes up almost no space, in case I get a little greedy with those souvenir snacks hehe. I'd also recommend bringing a waterproof sling/fannypack in case you don't have a way to safely tuck away your valuables while you're in the water. Great tips, Alex!
Looooove this video!! Can’t wait to see all the adventures y’all get up to on this trip! I hope Carrie filmed one like this - I would love to see what she packed in her backpack!
This throws me back watching packing videos, it's actually how I discovered the channel you did with your brother 6 ish years ago 😊. Air Inflatable pillows are actually really useful, easy to pack but come as godsend if you end up sleeping anywhere else than a hotel 🤣
Thank you for sharing all the camera gear! Wow I'm just learning to film and I have a lot to learn! This was very helpful. I always travel carry-on only. My tip is to use packing cubes for clothes! Keeps everything so organized in your bag and saves even more space.
Roll your clothes. Takes up less room and keeps things from getting wrinkled. I only take a weeks worth of clothes and wash things out in the hotel room sink. If you luck out and have a towel warmer in your room they dry your clothes nice and fast.
Woow, such a great and very informative vlog Alex. My husband loves the brand of your cloths. I love the rain jacket. Soo cool. So small👍. Have a safe trip. Enjoy your adventure. Take care of Carrie 💖
Alex, thank you for this valuable information! Your videos make me feel inspired to make video content and travel as well. Therefore I know it's a very hard work. I'm also wondering if you could share more about the actual shooting prosess. Maybe some tips, your own mistakes and achievements))
Great video but now I have a few questions. 😊Most days when you are walking around what do you carry? If you know you’re going to the beach, do you only carry your go pro? Fir your go pro do you only bring the mouth piece? At the airport, do you have too take everything out of your backpack to show or just open it. I think they usually ask to take out electronics.
Boats takes your luggage and put it in front of the boat, all the beaches in Thailand have special ports and the staff will take your luggages of the boats. That is why I travel nowadays with a suitcase. Before also travelled with a backpack.
