You've inspired me over the years with ideas on how to have less. Especially in regard to kids clothes. Although my son is 8 now and will only wear 2 pairs of shorts and one hoody. Really struggle to get him to wear anything other than his favorites. So we have opposite problem currently 😂

Best wishes with your projects Bayley. It was good to see your house tour, thank you. I've started decluttering in earnest again. We did it once to downsize from 4 bedroom massive house to a 3 bed bungalow. The 3rd bedroom has computer, book cases, dogs bed and lots of other stored things. There isn't any cupboards for hoovers etc here.

I'm always so inspired by your wonderful home tours! My youngest son is ten and he really wants curtains around his bunk now, he's so excited to have privacy from his older brother. I love your wall art and treasure on your staircase. We've been looking for art we can all agree on for four years, and you've got me wondering if I can create a gallery of memories we already own. I'd love to see how you organize your kitchen, ours is also small and I really struggle to keep it tidy. I fail miserably (!) when it comes to yarn, I have it tucked away all over the place. I'd love to say I only buy it intentionally, but I get a bit excited at the thought of new projects!!

The felt bag on your bedroom wall is a clever solution. I am inspired to feature my hobbies in a practical and beautiful way, as you have done wirh your yarn. I love how you think through what works in your space and specifically for each family member.
I love how the boy's bunk is inside the wardrobe - it makes it so cosy. I know my kids would love that. Small toys are always a battle. I feel like my older child is happy with less stuff -but she's always been that way. My youngest does struggle with keeping everything, but he also likes to have everything tidy and I'm wondering if going back to a toy rotation type system might be helpful for him to have less to manage. I do love Dark Harbour Yarns - that is a beautiful colour on you, and having just seen your wardrobe I can imagine it going nicely with what you have.
Are there never earth quakes there that get u scared keeping all these books above the boys head on the top bunk? they can be so heavy ❤ i cant ever keep anything above the kids , it can be annoying cause i need the space but.

Hi, yes we have a large park that is walking distance away. We also go to the local swimming pool twice a week. It’s definitely a challenge but we try and go out each day during the school break. 😊
I love how much counter you have to work with in your kitchen and the backsplash is so nice. I love natural light with the windows like yours. That is so nice. For the LEGOs I want to recommend standing organizers that will look nicer. My sons have built LEGOs for many years now and we keep them in this special LEGO shelf (They used to have something like what you are currently using). It has helped make the room look much cleaner. Cute bunk bed! It is a lovely space you have. Your knitted project is coming out so pretty! Well done.

Bayley, great to see you! Happy New Year! Great house tour. I’m going to be moving into a house I inherited. It is not a very small home but it has a very small kitchen. I’ve so often thought about your kitchen cabinets tour and in fact I’m going to go back and watch it if you still have it on RU-vid. Hard to believe that the boys are 10 and 7. I loved seeing Luna. I’m still hoping to one day visit NZ, maybe next year!
I enjoyed watching this home tour, as a wannabe minimalist. I got some really cool ideas like the bunk beds in the wardrobe for me this will create more room in a bedroom for my situation. I like this bunk bed set also. Actually there were heaps of ideas I liked and I would pretty much just summarise the video so I won’t list them off.
