sublime! Cudos to the architect and client who chose to reference the old and bring it into the new. With such a contemporary design aesthetic driving the project it could be tempting to make it all modern. I enjoyed the deliberate reference to the original villa as a counterpoint to the more modern parts. They highlight each other and give the project startling juxtapositions that are delightful. A work of art. This is architecture on a fine level.

Materials feel so light throughout the house. The choice of materials gives texture and foundation. And the cohesiveness of the aesthetic gives the house character and soul. FANTASTIC, masterful work!! Thank you AH and SL.
