Hi friends! I am pregnant as hell with baby #2 and have been working on my own personal baby registry, so I thought it would be a good time to share my NEWBORN ESSENTIALS shopping list for products, gear, clothing, toiletries, etc.
This video is for the new parent who has a less is more mindset and values quality over quantity. I will be sharing my baby item essentials (survival items) and all of the items I will be skipping this time around, all while chatting practicality, utility, resale value, expiration dates, and what's best acquired second hand via thrifting or hand-me-downs.
If you have any questions about my perspective on a specific product or tool that I did not include in the video just leave a comment! There are definitely other products I've used or tried and forgot to include.

The hakaa is amazing! I used it daily for a year. So in the US do they not recommend flat prams? The pram you linked looks very snazzy, but here in the UK they don't recommend that babies under 6 months spend too much time in the carseat style prams where they are curled up. The completely flat carrycot allows for their spine to develop properly

That flat prams are definitely a lot less common here for whatever reason. Some people use them, but I feel like it’s for the first few months and not all the way until 6 months. Just an observation - I’m no doctor lol. I bought a flat bassinet attachment for my pram for our last baby, but only used it a handful of times before he outgrew it. I just try to limit the time that my baby is in carseat/stroller to a small amount each day. And pray it all works out. HA!
