Minimalist pack with me :) pack with me for 2 weeks in Asia! I'm going to Japan and Korea for 2 weeks and decided to pack for 2 weeks in a carry-on only. I had to stick a few things in my check-in luggage, but I want to simplify packing and pack minimally. This means creating a packing list, organizing my packing with packing cubes, really using my personal item too! Pack with me for my 2 week trip to Asia :)

I agree, she lit took 3 whole pairs of shoes, 3 pijamas, 3 bags, all that makeup and stuff, how is that minimalistic if she barely could close the suitcase and needed an additional full backpack😭 minimalistic would be going just with a backpack or a suitcase with space left

Great video, however, I do question the packing cubes? Have you tried to use the ones with adjustable straps to create more room ... I currently use brand called Mountain warehouse without straps and find that yes there helpful but there are times when I feel they could be squished down more. Would love to know if you'veused ones with adjustable straps? .

ngl I'm struggling to figure out what size suitcase I should bring for my 2 week trip in Korea (leaving in 3 weeks)😅 Should I go for a 26in or a 28/29in? I already have the Mini Weekender bag which I'm excited to use but I'm worried I might do a lot of shopping and need more room. What advice can you give me?

I would do 28/29! It’s being checked in anyway and it’s better to have more room than not enough :) I bought the largest size first before buying a medium!

Hi Maya! I just came back a couple days ago from a 2 week vacation in Japan and it was amazing! I miss it so much already 😭 I also packed in a carry on/personal item backpack and GIRL it was such a challenge 😅 definitely doable, I think I’m just high maintenance or something 🤣 anyways, I hope you have a safe and beautiful trip! 😊❤️ I’m so hype to see the travel vlogs!

Thia is very minimalistic for a trip to japan and korea. People tend to spend upwards to 3 weeks there on average.

So technically two weeks in a carry-on and half a large check in luggage. 😅 I have tried carry-ons, in the past I was able to fit a months worth of stuff but now I can’t. Lol. Idk why. I did a 9 day concert/vacation trip to LA and legit didn’t have room. I bought stuff at the concert so imagine. Now I just travel with a medium sized luggage in case I wanna buy stuff. Idk how people do it. Maybe I need a better backpack. Lol.

@@mayaleex3yeah… that is not minimalist lol im going 15 days to asia as well and i only needed one suitcase and i even have 1/4 free space left in the suitcase! (And im not even minimalist). Thats more like organized but in no way minimalist if you need a super full suitcase (it barely closed) + an additional full backpack. Not to hate tho! Just came here to learn more tips for light packaging and got disappointed and wasted time with the clickbait

In no way this is minimalist tho… I mean, 3 different bags + 3 different shoes + 3 whole pijamas + all the makeup, creams, brushes, etc thats a whole lot! but you have very cool stuff over there!

We are a family of four that includes two teenagers. I always pack a sturdy good size duffle for all our dirty clothes so that the luggages are for my purchases and what not. Carryon can be impt for fragile stuff & valuables.

Hi. I don’t know if this is the right video to comment. But me and my wife are travelling to Japan around September/October or November (It depends which month is best, cheapest and nice weather) and we want to include South Korea on it as well, so a total of 2 weeks combined, between those 2 countries. My question is: How can I book the best tickets/accommodations for those countries instead of paying thousands of pounds, or booking seperate flights?

Ahh, I ended up booking all separate flights but it’s pretty standard! Unless you choose a flight that happens to have a layover in one of the countries you desire, then you can call the airline and ask them to do a stopover instead where you stay in that country for a few days and then continue your flight. But usually I just buy all separate tickets (:

i left for spain on june 3rd (also my birthday) and i put a carryon inside my medium suitcase and checked it but the carryon was full of my clothes and i filled the gaps between the suitcases with a few things like my keyboard and a jacket. I leave on the 22nd of this month and i still dont understand how i packed everything for 2 months mostly inside a carryon and a backpack

Hi! In case it helps i managed to pack all my stuff in only a suitcase and even had some space left! Just program the clothes you’ll wear each day, combine outfits and wear just a few combinable clothes and only a pair of comfortable shoes and youll be fine :)
