Maybe they(Minimalist) have different or improved formulations but I’ve been using this product ever since they launched this and I’ve the same pertroleum jelly consistently(even I’ve one now and it looks like vaseline). I think those who have jelly or watery consistency may be keeping this in extreme heat or humid temperatures which can lead to gel (just as vaseline does)🤔🤷🏻♀️
I have combination skin and it's pretty hard for me to use moisturizers because all the moisturizers gives me greesy or more oily skin so i just wanted to ask you, is this worth it? Is it combination skin friendly????
I use this moisturizer , niacinamide serum and salicylic cleanser from minimalist.. I"ve acne and acne scars and bumps . Can uh pls tell me.. These product, s reduce my bumps and acne and all. Pls reply me.. I"m so tens.. Because I"ve lot of pimples and bumps Actually my skin is too oily
Firstly you should visit a dermatologist to find out the type of acne and acne marks you have to use the products suitable for your skin type. But you can generally use this moisturizer after any serum or cleanser. As you have oily skin- this product will be amazing for you and I'm telling this from experience as I also have oily skin and this minimalist moisturizer works wonders for my oily skin and doesn't feel heavy or oily on the skin. ❤
It is an everyday moisturizer for hydrating, nourishing and repairing skin. A lightweight, oil-free product with high concentration of Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), formulated especially for oily / combination skin. Fragrance free • Non-comedogenic • 50g • MRP ₹349 beminimalist.co/products/vitamin-b5-10-moisturizer
It might have a slight smell from the ingredients it contains but it has no other added fragrance. (And honestly that smell is so less that it feels it’s not even there unless you sniff the tube from real close.) Hope this helped🫶🏻
I do have oily skin with small bumps on forehead, i do have acne scars on one side of cheek and little bit Whiteheads sometimes. I have tried using moisturizers and sunscreens. Those are making my skin still oily and dull. Now again i have decided to use the facewash, moisturizer and sunscreen. I have ordered reequil oil control face wash, minimalist b5 moisturizer and reequil matte sunscreen. For toner i will be using rose water gel.. will this formula workouts for my skin. If anything that i want to change, pls do let me know. It helps me veey much with your suggestions
Hey Jabeer apologies for replying late (i wasn't well). Firstly, if you have oily skin toh stop using moisturizer and sunscreen simultaneously cause it will make you sweat more and vaise bhi summers hain and as a fellow oily skin person I'm saying this. Only apply Sunscreen which has SPF 50 or 50+ and it will be more than enough. I don't use moisturizers in Summers (only SPF), {This tip was suggested by a board certified Dermatologist from NewYork}. This is my AM routine for summers: Cleanser~ hydrating essence/toner (optional)~ vitamin c serum~ SPF & then a hydrating lib balm or vaseline on lips. Secondly, for your whiteheads and small bumps on forehead- start incorporating exfoliating peels once a week and then slowly increase to 2 to 3 times/week, also don't forget to apply SPF the next day AM routine. You can use any exfoliating peel (I have recently posted one, its in my latest shorts section). Just make sure to don't use physical exfoliation, use chemical ones cause they will irritate your skin barrier if used correctly. Thirdly, using SPF regularly and exfoliating peels will help with fading your acne scars. Trust me when I tell this to you that Sunscreen alone will help a lot with your pigmentation, if you don't believe me just try it for 2 weeks consistently and see it yourself. Now coming to your dull looking skin uska reason yahi hai ki you are applying moisturizer and sunscreen both in a single routine and as you have oily skin and summers are going on it will definetely look dull bro, mera bhi same haal hai. Lastly, I will not suggest using Rose-water as toner as it may be fragranced and it may inflame your skin. Chaho toh skip this or if you really want to use toner, do let me know which brand it is and I'll tell if its worth it or not. Also, don't use more products than these otherwise the skin won't react well, slowly incorporate one new product at a time with a gap of at least 2 days (This way you will know how your skin is reacting to each product and you may able to figure out what went wrong in case of any side effects). Keep this Minimalist moisturizer for winter use. let me know if you need any help, you can always DM me on IG(khucore) too❤
Hello..i have oily acne prone skin....active acne and acne scars too...as u said due to oily skin there is no need to use moisturiser only sunscreem is enough....can you please suggest me sunscreen which is anti-aging too and for oily acne prone skin with acne and acne scars?
I have dry ance prone skin i especially want to treat ance using moisturizer can you recommend me which one should i use, there is marula oil 5% minimalist moisturizer but it doesn't mention ance prone. whilst there is this one you're showing but problem is that it's for oily ance prone skin. I have dry one.
hey, you can not treat acne with moisturiser (only). but if you’re incorporating other actives then it may definitely help as it provides hydration and works as a barrier between your skin and the outer atmosphere. If I have to recommend you a good moisturiser for your dry skin + acne prone skin I would suggest going for any moisturiser within your budget (plus from a good brand) which has: Dry Skin- • Ceramides • Mineral oil • Petrolatum • Hyaluronic acid • Vitamin E for Acne prone- • Benzoyl peroxide, 5% for face and 10% for body • Salicylic Acid • Retinol/retinoids these ingredients. I hope this helps. let me know if you need any help ♥️
@@KhuCore your reply has been helpful to me and thank you for taking the time to respond. I've been closely observing my skin for the past 10 days, trying to determine my skin type. I used to wash my face up to 10 times a day, which I believe caused it to become dry. So, 10 days ago, I decided to cut back to washing my face only 3 times a day. I've noticed that after an hour, my face neither becomes extremely oily nor stays dry; it has a slight shine, but not as much as oily skin. I think it's a combination skin type. After researching, I learned that combination skin can use oily moisturizers. Regarding acne, since reducing my face-washing frequency, increasing water intake, and switching to healthier foods, my active acne has cleared up, but the dark spots remain. I'm wondering if moisturizer will help with them or if I need to try something else
Hey apologies for replying late, was not well. I would suggest using a salicylic acid serum for acne and hyaluronic acid for dry skin as using salicylic will also cause drying to some extent. You can also use salicylic acid in serum and hyaluronic acid as moisture, just make sure to apply hyaluronic acid products on damp skin otherwise it will reverse effects. Let me know if any question arises and you can also DM me on IG. Always happy to help♥️✨
As I have oily-combi skin, I don't use moisturizers in Summers (only SPF) but I used this daily in Winters in AM routine and this lasted around almost 1-1 and a half months cause you doesn't need to apply more, it has a greasy texture which looks like vaseline but less oily and less heavy than vaseline. this is my AM routine for winters-. Cleanser~ hydrating essence/toner~ vitamin c serum~ moisturizer~ SPF & then a hydrating lib balm or vaseline on lips. {so you see that after applying toner & vit c serum, you dont need too much moisturizer} I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help❤
I don't know what smell you're talking about. please discontinue cause i have tried severals of this moisturizer and none of them was like this. there is no smell. this product is fragrance free. have you checked its expiry and if its original or not?
Hello di...i have combination t-zone skin ...nose skin is oily and i have milias' on nose and nearby eyes ....rest of the face is normal to dry....so can i use it or not?
milias develop when the protein keratin or dead skin cells gets trapped under the skin. generally, milias will go away within 3-4 months itself as our skin sheds old skin cells but don't worry milias aren’t considered harmful.
I think you need to continue applying tretinoin as it will exfoliate your skin and I would suggest you to incorporate an exfoliator contaning AHAs BHAs & PHAs slowly into your nighttime routine then slowly increase to 2 to 3 times/ week. After applying exfoliating peel you you have to wash with lukewarm water after 5-8 minutes and then apply your favorite nighttime moisturizer without any active ingredients (and remember not to apply tretinoin on the days of applying AHA BHA PHA peel). Also, try not to over mositurize your skin, sometimes over moisurization traps extra oils/dead skin cells. let me know if you need any help❤
Not everything suits everyone, may be you should have done a patch test before trying on your entire face, one by one both the products. That's why patch tests are recommended. I hope you're doing good now and have healed your face. sending you love❤
Is your skin too oily prerna? If it doesn't absorb much, I would suggest using it in winters only. Use sunscreen only in summers, skip moisturisers. I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help❤❤
yes of course, I use it everyday in these summer days and even I have oily skin type but this moisturiser is really good☺️ I’m currently using my fourth tube🩵
I agree, for 50 gms. of product this is a little out of budget and sometimes I really wish that they should have bigger tube/tub (for ex-100,200 or 250 gms) so we can buy in bulk and I'm pretty sure that will cost lesser in comparison to 50gms one (to say per gram cost). But the product is great in itself and does what it says so I keep re-purchasing it. Let me know if you need any alternatives for this product.😊❤
Neeche maine kuch ingredients ki list di hai jinse spots aur pigmentation clear hote hain, aap koi bhi product le sakte hain, apne budget ke hisaab se: • Azelaic acid • Vitamin C • Kojic acid • Retinol creams • SUNSCREEN Don’t forget to patch test. agar kuch aur help ho toh zaroor punchein♥️
“I have been using this moisturizer for a week, and I’m totally in love with it. It makes my skin feel hydrated all day and gives it a glow after use. The best thing about it is that it’s non-comedogenic.”
Vitamin B5 is Panthenol (Pantothenic Acid), it is a really good anti-oxidant and it helps to lighten skin/discoloration. You can definitely use it. Anyone above 13 can use it. let me know if you need any help♥
hey, no it doesn’t give matte look but at the same time it doesn’t give dewy look. It really melts into the skin as soon as you apply. Let me know if you need any help♥️
Yes it helps moisturising your skin which will prevent dyness but you also need to use exfoliants in order to remove dead skin cells (which are forming closed comedones). I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help❤❤
Since, it doesn't contains any type of natural or artificial oil It is mainly made focusing oily skin but can be used for any skin type but If u feel higher dryness in ur skin u can skip this
This moisturizer is really good for oily skin but if you have darkspots, you need to find out if its PIE or PIH (type of pigmentation). Then you need to use cream/serum according to that..; for example alpha arbutin or tranexamic acid or kojic acid or glycolic acid(AHA). You can also opt for chemical/laser peels if spots are persistent or from acnes. And 1 tip I would give you- If you consistently use sunscreen daily, it would definitely help with pigmentation and make your skin glowing.
Hey You can use retinol and that can unclog pores and fade dark spots. You can get benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or retinol in acne products that you can buy without a prescription. Retinol is a type of retinoid. Another retinoid that may be helpful is adapalene gel 0.1%.
