Hello, just made a bigger version of this box type house design. You can watch it here >> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GGyq_Bqg29g.html Have a great day!
Hi, can I have a request for senior couple house in 6ft by 16ft house with 1 bedroom and loft bedroom with it.. just a simple house with kitchen and 1 bathroom.. if possible ✌thanks!
After having done this, I now bought a 6200 sqft 1930s Spanish revival home. I wouldn't trade it for a cracker box anywhere. I'm 62 and loving its beauty. I don't need much and don't have alot in it, just the essentials. I deserve it all.
Thanks so much for the floor plans! This would be an ideal house for a single person, a newly married couple or empty nesters. When my husband and I retire, we don't want a big house. Once I stop working, I don't want to spend all my free time cleaning house! Perfections!
i've seen "shipping container" houses, houses made out sheds, houses on wheels, prefabricated houses that unfold and about every small house configuration imaginable. even with lofts and two bedrooms. and guess what? i STILL can't afford it. there's no one i can talk to, to get info on any of it. there's no local "small house" adviser or store i can go to. 75 aq feet is all i need. its about the size of my present apt. from prices averaging around 15k, i have the money to buy one RIGHT NOW! but all the extra, hidden costs brings that up to about 75k OR MORE! so, i'd love to buy one of these houses. but as with all capitalism, i'm NOT ALLOWED! go figure!
@@AmoebaInk ... i appreciate the advice but when you say capitalism hasn't prevented me from "owning" a home i see just how out of touch with reality you, and many others, really are. through my rent i've been paying a mortgage payment, every month, on time, and i have nothing to show for it. i've paid well over $300,000 in rent over the last 45 years. AND I OWN NOTHING! just how many people living in poverty own their own homes? you say "buy" a house then rent out the extra rooms. i don't want to own a boarding house. i don't want to live in a house full of strangers. and how about the boarders? why can't they own a home? furthermore, no mortgage company is going to grant me a loan if i say i'll pay for it by charging boarders. one of these small, "afforadable" houses, at $15k or $20k, actually cost over $100 grand when all the costs are factored in. no, capitalism tells 50% of the population they aren't worthy or deserving of a home of their own. and now rentals are even too expensive for a lot of people. these rental management companies have taken over the industry and instituted absurd restrictions JUST ON RENTALS! when so-called "affordable housing" is too expensive for many people you know we got ONE BIG PROBLEM in this country. fiuthermore, there's years long waiting lists for these "affordable" rentals. one of those restrictions is they're now DEMANDING three times the rent in income to qualify for a GODDAMNED RENTAL! that means to be granted a rent of a mere $500 a month rent one must make $1500 a month. THAT'S INSANE! i've bee renting for over 45 years and i've NEVER made 3 times the rent in income - NEVER! and i've never missed a rent payment in 45 YEARS! its time for americans to grasp reality! the entire "housing" industry is one big corporate scam. corporations are buying up all these home properties and rental properties driving up the costs. placing ridiculous and illegal demands on the population. capitalism IS the problem.
Basically, it’s a nice design. But one issue I have with so many small house designs is that the living rooms often consist of a space just wide enough to position a couch facing a wide screen tv. There’s no room for a chair to be added that faces the couch, allowing for facing conversation. Life at home should facilitate more than just sitting on a couch watching tv.
Agreed:) Given that it is only 265 sqft (5mx5m) there is not much you can do. I would go 6.5mx6.5m for just under 500 sqft, Still small but much more comfortable. And ditch the bloody TV!
I would put this way in a positive view, this living room size purpose is to focus on watching tv, conversation could be done probably during mealtime or while outdoors which is healthier while you do activities with family, I don’t mean mingle with big crowds which we’re prone to viruses 🤭😅
The exterior design is what makes this simple house unique. Somewhere along history's way, too many architects lost their creativity and it looks like some have found it again.

@@cjmacq-vg8umI got my trailer at an auction for $250. Put up some solar panels and it's been over ten years in it. In the process I built one, alot nicer but smaller. Building something might be the route to go. For some of us, it's the only way to own something.
yep. its kinda pretty ain't it? i've seen "shipping container" houses, houses made out sheds, houses on wheels, prefabricated houses that unfold and about every small house configuration imaginable. even with lofts and two bedrooms. and guess what? i STILL can't afford it. there's no one i can talk to, to get info on any of it. there's no local "small house" adviser or store i can go to. 75 aq feet is all i need. its about the size of my present apt. from prices averaging around 15k, i have the money to buy one RIGHT NOW! but all the extra, hidden costs brings that up to about 75k OR MORE! so, i'd love to buy one of these houses. but as with all capitalism, i'm NOT ALLOWED! go figure!
I'd reclaim that porch space for the living room. It's eating up interior space that would make the kitchen/dining area less cramped. Can always add an awning outside the sliding doors to create a porch space outside of the house footprint.
And with a little more space inside, maybe the kitchen could be reconfigured, so that the fridge is next to the counters instead of across the room. I don't know why, but the fridge sitting by itself against the wall really annoyed me. 🤣
@@Terri_MacKay To each his own. I thought the fridge by itself is cool. Makes it special. The doors should open the other way though. The fridge could actually be twice as big in the location! As an alternative, if the back door was relocated to the right of the oven, one could have a huge L-shaped kitchen.
It has all my favour attributes, window above sink, back door in kitchen, window by kitchen table facing the morning sun. Two windows in bed room for night time star gazing. The sheltered front door for winter winds and snow. Just need a big garage to store all stuff.
The house looks good but as i see it without airconditioning, the house will feel like an oven. Considering that Phils is a tropical country with lots of sun, better ventillation is a must. Big windows and high ceilings will give the house cooler temperature even without airconditioning.
Its so nice to see a house, even a small one, that looks like a house and not like a trailer. It is also nice that the house is fire-resistant stucco, rather that "rustic" (ug) and flammable logs or plank siding.
I love, love these small homes. I live in a condo in a golf community but the maintenance and assessment can get high. We have to fix all problems regardless if it actually affects your building.
Visited this many times. Elegant design especially for minimalist. I wouldn't mind building a house like this. My dad is an architect, but this floor plan and exterior is a beauty. Thanks for the floor plan. Garry from southern California.
I know extra storage is not aligned with minimalist mindset. But I believe we should always have some extra food and survival essentials plus a place to put away all the cleaning stuff (mop, broom, vacuum, detergents, etc.)
Thank you very much for giving me an idea for a small apartment that hopefully we will build in the near future. Your design is simple yet very elegant! Just downloaded the floor plan.

With a little bit more space and some improvements this will be nice especially with a spacious yard! We are currently going through design and I prefer to have multiple small units similar to this rather than having one huge house. Only one thing is stopping me and that is not having an upper floor just in case of flooding in the future.
I like it easy. simple floor pan I'd adjust a few areas.the flat roof wouldn't work in mountain areas. I'd put on a rain collector gravity flow system.this be great for off grid.thank you
👍🏾👍🏾 this is really nice, looking forward to a bigger version. And many thanks for the floor plan. It helps visualize better the design because the video by itself goes fast. The plan also helps to assess things such as the locations for doors and windows and whether the windows could be a bit larger so as to let in more sunlight during the day.
Beautiful design💕looks very comfy for a single person. I was looking for a 3 bedroom 3 bath being the guestroom has it's own bath like the master bedroom. 3rd bathroom displayed for visitors. Another suggestion the fridge is not sitting right for me ,separated from the kitchen area.
Very nice! Agree with others about freeing up space to make living area a little larger. I'm not a cook- so the least amount of space for the kitchen the better. A folding table would open space.
Hi everyone,Very beautiful and ideal house for one person.I wish in the future maybe I'd have this house. My dream house between nature.Have a nice day.Bye bye
